Minister Beaten After Row with Muslims

A Christian Minister, himself an immigrant from Pakistan, has been beaten and humiliated by three Muslim men in London.

Reverend Noble Samuel is based at Heston United Reform Church, but he also hosts a live 'Asian Gospel Show', a programme which regularly appears on Venus TV, a satellite channel run by a Muslim man.

Reverend Samuel described several on air disagreements with Muslim callers before the attack, which occurred in Wembley, north London. He stated that the callers refused to accept his opinion and became aggressive when he would not defer to their point of view.

The attack is described thus:

'A Christian minister who has had heated arguments with Muslims on his TV Gospel show has been brutally attacked by three men who ripped off his cross and warned: ‘If you go back to the studio, we’ll break your legs.’

The Reverend Noble Samuel was driving to the studio when a car pulled over in front of him. A man got out and came over to ask him directions in Urdu.

Mr Samuel said: ‘He put his hand into my window, which was half open, and grabbed my hair and opened the door.

He started slapping my face and punching my neck. He was trying to smash my head on the steering wheel.

Then he grabbed my cross and pulled it off and it fell on the floor. He was swearing. The other two men came from the car and took my laptop and Bible.’

In spite of the attack, Mr Samuel went ahead with his hour-long live Asian Gospel Show on the Venus satellite channel from studios in Wembley, North London. During the show the Muslim station owner Tahir Ali came on air to condemn the attack.'

Initial reports indicate that the Metropolitan Police have not charged Reverend Noble with obstruction of a Muslim man's fist, but will indeed investigate the attack as a 'faith hate crime'.

They are seeking three suspects described as 'Asian men'.

The government will have to prosecute (or is that persecute?) this man quickly and effectively in order to prevent growing hostility among muzlims against having one of their own kind turn against them.

Ah, the joys of diversity!!

As they continue to tell us, there is strength in diversity (we just don't know where to find it.)
