A man gets chatting to a girl on a bus, follows her when she gets off and enters a railway station, then gropes her breast at the ticket barrier.
At his trial, he is let off with a slap on the wrist - because he is sexually inexperienced.
What, pray tell, does that have to do with anything? Presumably, following the logic of the defence, had he been sexually experienced, the attack would have been ten times worse. So there might well be a progression in his behaviour which leads to some poor girl being attacked one day.
But no - it's better to just bury our heads in the sand.
From The Dewsbury Reporter:
A DEWSBURY man squeezed a teenage girl's breast at Leeds railway station.Yasser Hussain chatted to the girl on a bus, followed her into the train station then squeezed her breast at the ticket barrier.
But he escaped a jail sentence after his barrister said he was sexually inexperienced.
Leeds Crown Court heard Hussain, 25, of Leamington Terrace, Savile Town, approached the girl after the bus journey on January 25, asking for directions and then her phone number.
She gave him her number, believing he was interested in her business.
They then walked together to the train station, where Hussain asked for a hug at the ticket machines.
But he used the hug to grope her breast, then bombarded her with texts and followed her around the station, only leaving when the girl alerted a staff member at WH Smith.
Hussain pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
Judge Christopher Batty said: "That you felt it was acceptable to touch this young girl ...on her breast is beyond comprehension. The arrogance and selfishness of your attitude is quite astounding."
Defending, Allan Armbrister told the court that Hussain was immature and sexually inexperienced.
Hussain was given a three-year supervision order, put on a sex offenders course and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work.

I hope that Alan Armbrister has daughters and that this kind of 'occurrence' does not happen to one of them. If it does, let's just see how quick he will be to defend shite like this in future!
For anyone who doesn't understand our legal system let me put you straight. Cases are brought into chambers and served to appropriately qualified and available barristers, who are sworn to take cases no matter how vile a case or grotesque or powerful a defendant. In other words if a barrister is presented with a case and is availiable to take it he/she cannot turn it down! Alan Armbrister was doing his job correctly. Nemesis your comment is both ignorant and childish.
