Teenager Assaulted in Hotel by Naked 'Asian'

A 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a naked stranger in her hotel room in south Manchester.

Police said the victim woke up to find the man assaulting her at Holly House hotel on Palatine Road, Didsbury, on Saturday morning.

She managed to push him off, telling him a friend - who she called out for - would soon be returning. He then left.

The man is described as Asian, about 5ft 6in (1.7m) tall, of slim build, with long black hair and a hooked nose.

Det Sgt Dave McCulloch, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This has understandably been a deeply upsetting incident for the victim.

"Despite her ordeal she has been able to give us a very good description of the man, so I would appeal to anyone who may have been staying in the hotel or who lives nearby and may have seen this person to come forward.

"Please look at the image and call me if you think you recognise him."
