Muslim Man Charged with 16 Counts of Rape

A MAN has been charged with 16 counts of rape.

Asad Mohamed, 32, of no fixed address, was charged with a number of offences after an incident in Bermondsey, at 2.30pm on February 4.

Mr Mohamed was charged on Wednesday of last week with 16 counts of rape of a woman, attempted rape, and two counts of sexual assault on a woman.

He is also charged with robbery, aggravated burglary, burglary with intent to steal, trespassing on a premises to commit a sexual offence, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a sharp article in a public place.

He will appear at Inner London Crown Court today (Thursday).
