Diversity & Islamic Cultural Enrichment in Scotland

In July 2009 I reported on the desire of Jim Murphy, the then-Scottish Secretary, for Scotland to become what he called a "melting pot".

Such was his desire for the vibrant, colourful customs and behaviour which can be found in any cursory search here at The Lambeth Walk that he even offered potential violent, primitive Third World chancers immigrants who chose to settle in Scotland a fast-track to British citizenship - so they could legally enrich us all.

I know what you're all thinking - what a caring, absolutely wonderful man that Jim Murphy must be - and how in touch with reality he is! May Allah take pity on his infidel soul.

Well, I have to admit that Jim's vision is starting to achieve results. Back in March, I reported that there were plans to open an Islamic cultural centre near to the site where Kriss Donald, a Scottish teenager, was brutally and callously murdered by a gang of Pakistani men simply for being white.

As if that wasn't enough of an insult to the Scottish people, two months before in January the killers of Kriss demanded compensation from the Scottish Prison Service - because it locked them in solitary confinement for their own protection:

THE jailed thugs who killed Kriss Donald are claiming damages for being locked in solitary confinement, we can reveal today.

Murderers Imran 'Baldy' Shahid, Zeeshan 'Crazy' Shahid and Mohammed 'Becks' Mushtaq were only put in solitary to protect them from other cons revolted by their racist crime.

But the whining murderers claim that being cooped up on their own has caused them mental damage.

And they are demanding thousands of pounds each from the public purse in compensation for the so-called breach of their human rights.

Becks's claim, the first of the three, is due to come to court on Friday.

All three killers have demanded Legal Aid to fight their cases and officials have yet to decide on their applications. ....

Baldy was jailed for a minimum of 25 years, Crazy for 23 years and Becks for 22. Baldy, 33, is in Shotts jail and has been in solitary since starting his sentence.

He claims being held alone has had a "detrimental effect on his physical and mental health".

His damages case will be heard on February 3. It's the latest in a long series of complaints by the thug about his conviction and sentence.

He claims he should be freed because there were no Asians on the jury that condemned him and his appeal is due to be heard this year.

Baldy has moaned before about being in solitary and has accused prison chiefs of leaving him in "spiritual isolation".
No Asians on the jury? Well, that's a clear miscarriage of justice then. Of course I'm joking, but in modern Britain there is no need for satire - back in 2008, "Baldy" tried to get his conviction quashed on that very basis - at our expense.

The presiding judge showed a sense of humour though:

At the Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday, lawyers argued that the killer had not been judged by a jury of his peers.

But Lord Nimmo Smith, who heard the application along with Lord Wheatley and Lord Abernethy, ruled: "His peers are fellow citizens of the United Kingdom."

As for spiritual isolation, I find it very hard to believe that any one who participated in what these animals did to Kriss could actually have a soul.

Anyway, Baldy continues to waste taxpayers money and spit in the face of Kriss's family whatever chance he gets - at his hearing over the solitary confinement case, he fired his lawyers at the last minute, meaning the hearing could not take place.

Ah well, I'm sure we'll buy him some better ones.

Anyone reading this can surely only be struck by the degree to which Scotland has improved with the presence of these fine, upstanding gentlemen.

But Jim Murphy's beautiful vision is not dead - things north of the border just keep getting better and better!

In August, a Pakistani thug was arrested for beating up his Scottish girlfriend in Aberdeen.

Naturally, mere infidels interfering in his business annoyed him, and he went on a bit of a tirade against the police, calling them "ginger, haggis-munching Scottish bastards" and telling them he would gladly blow them and any passersby up if he had the chance:

Pakistani Mohammed Amir launched the foul tirade - and threatened to blow 20 people up - as he was nicked for battering his girlfriend.

The 29-year-old lout told police officers he'd "gladly" wipe them out with passers-by during the arrest in an Aberdeen city centre street.

Yesterday, the city's sheriff court heard how Amir said: "I'm going to kill 20 of you and blow you to bits. F*** you, you haggis-munching ginger b******s. I'm going to bomb you white f*****s."

Remorseless Amir - who made rude gestures as he was led away to start an 18-month jail term - was convicted of a string of crimes.

He admitted punching Cindy Gordon in the street in February and racially abusing cops.

The yob pleaded guilty to threatening to stab a cabbie who had tried to stop him attacking Ms Gordon again just a month later. He also admitted theft and breaking bail conditions. Amir (below) was described as having problems with heroin use and anger-management.

Indeed. A shining example of Jim Murphy's vision, I would have thought. The Scottish government seem happy:

Last night Labour justice spokesman Richard Baker MSP said the public would be "relieved" the brute was behind bars.

He said: "This man deserved a custodial sentence and it's important that all racist offences are treated in that way by the courts."

A Scottish Government spokesman added: "There is no place for racism in Scotland. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

I'm going to go out on a limb here; I bet that there are many Scottish people reading this who are wondering who has the bigger problem.

Is it Amir with his "anger management" issues, or the Scottish government with their baffling desire to fill what is actually quite a nice country in many ways with scum like this? I don't care if there's "no place for racism" in Scotland, whatever that even means; I wonder why there's a place for Muslim criminals who clearly despise the society they're preying on/leeching off/enriching, depending on your viewpoint.

The problem isn't racism as such; it's that treating the dregs of the Third World like kings feeds their entitlement and superioriy complexes - and if they happen to be Muslims, particularly younger Muslim males, those will probably be big enough as it is, despite little in the way of actual evidence for the truth of them.

The vibrant diversity seems destined to continue, however:

Muazim Ali Shah is accused of killing 47-year-old Lynne Farquhar at her flat in Rockmount Avenue, in the Barrhead area, on 26 September.

It is alleged that the 32-year-old repeatedly kicked and stamped on Ms Farquhar's head and body.

I wonder how many Scottish people the likes of Jim Murphy and Richard Baker will have on their consciences in the end?

Islamic Centre to Open on Site of Kriss Donald's Murder

Kriss Donald was brutally murdered in 2004 by a Pakistani gang seeking to "Chop them [any random white male] up, take out their eyes and stab them."

Kriss was abducted whilst walking with a friend who managed to escape. As he was pulled into the car by at least 5 adult males he could be heard crying: "I'm only 15. What did I do?"

Wikipedia goes some way towards describing the almost unimaginable agonies inflicted on Kriss before his death:

On 16 March 2004, Donald was abducted from Kenmure Street by five men associated with a local Pakistani gang led by Imran Shahid. The kidnapping was ostensibly revenge for an attack on Shahid at a nightclub in Glasgow city centre the night before by a local white gang, and Donald was chosen as an example of a "white boy from the McCulloch Street area" despite having no involvement in the nightclub attack or in any gang activity. [1] Donald was taken on a 200-mile journey to Dundee and back while his kidnappers made phone calls looking for a house to take him to. Having no success at this, they returned to Glasgow and took him to the Clyde Walkway, near Celtic Football Club's training ground.[2]

There, they held his arms and stabbed him 13 times. He sustained internal injuries to three arteries, one of his lungs, his liver and a kidney. He was castrated, had his tongue cut out, was doused in petrol, set on fire and left to die.[3]

The five men convicted of the abduction and murder were convicted of racially aggravated offences. After the murder, some of Donald's attackers fled the United Kingdom and sought refuge in Pakistan. Three suspects were arrested in Pakistan in July 2005 and extradited to the UK in October 2005, following the intervention of Mohammed Sarwar, the MP for Glasgow Central.

Obviously, the BBC didn't feel that society could draw any useful lessons from this incident, unlike, say, the killing of Stephen Lawrence, and it was largely ignored by the mainstream media.

When they did mention it, it was to pontificate about how such an act should not be allowed to "stir up racial tensions" and "harm community relations," which are still going just swimmingly by all accounts. Labour MSP Gordon Burns even memorably said of the abduction, mutilation, castration, burning alive and murder of young Kriss:

"Every area, particularly in a city, has young men getting into bother from time to time."

Nice.

The News of the World reported yesterday that community relations are still going so well in Pollockshields, the area Kriss came from, that there are regularly armed clashes between white and Asian gangs.

The solution? Well, the heroic Muslim MP Mohammed Sarwar, which the Wikipedia entry gushes over so, believes he has it - an Islamic cultural centre near the site of Kriss' abduction!

Now that's cultural sensitivity for you. Not to worry though - the centre will be used to "provide information to Muslims and non-Muslims".

Here is the NotW article in full:

A ROW has erupted over plans to build an Islamic school near the spot where tragic race-hate victim Kriss Donald was abducted.

Worried locals fear the move could fuel tensions in the area - which they claim is already plagued by clashes between white and Asian gangs.

And they believe the proposal, put forward by Glasgow MP Mohammed Sarwar, could DIVIDE the fragile community in Pollokshields, Glasgow.

One 48-year-old resident said: "This would be totally inappropriate and insensitive. It will harm community relations, which are already strained."

Tragic Kriss, 15, was snatched from the street by a gang of racist thugs - led by brutal Imran Shahid, 33. The monsters stabbed the terrified youngster before setting him on fire while he was still alive.

The killing in March 2004 was one of Scotland's most chilling crimes and shocked the nation. Shahid, his brother, Zeeshan Shahid, 32, and Mohammed Faisal Mushtaq, 34, were convicted of the murder.

The brothers were caged for at least 25 years and Mushtaq was sentenced to 22 years.

A shrine to Kriss has been erected - close to the site of a local bowling club, which is the subject of a planning application in relation to the school.

A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: "The applicant would like to convert the building into one which will house the Islamic Academy of Scotland and provide information for Muslims and non-Muslims."

We have left immigration far behind now - this is truly colonisation.

More Moderate Muslims

Whenever the spectre of Muslim terrorism and Jihad is raised, two things happen.

The person raising such questions is invariably dismissed as an "ignorant bigot", no matter how much he knows about Islam, and he is told that "moderate Muslims" will eventually win the day - if we just make the effort, concessions, etc, to reach out to them and let them know how tolerant we are.

This is flawed thinking, of course, as two recent revelations indicate.

Firstly, Osama Saeed, the founder and head of the Scottish Islamic Foundation, has been revealed as an adherent of Anwar al-Alwaki, a preacher who praised Major Nidal Hasan and the recent Fort Hood massacre in Texas.

Of course, Saeed is now back-pedalling and claiming he feels "cheated" by the cleric:

A radical Muslim cleric alleged to have inspired the Fort Hood gunman has been praised in the past as “a preacher of peace” by a prominent SNP candidate with close links to Alex Salmond.

The FBI is investigating communications between Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 people at the US Army base in Texas, and Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, a US-born Muslim cleric now based in Yemen. Mr Awlaki has a large following in Britain and counts prominent mainstream Muslims among his supporters.

In 2006 Osama Saeed, who has been selected as the SNP candidate for Glasgow Central for the next general election, wrote that Mr Awlaki “preached nothing but peace”.

Last night Mr Saeed, who was researcher to Mr Salmond before he became the Scottish First Minister, distanced himself from Mr Awlaki, saying that he now felt “cheated” by the cleric.

Saeed is reportedly very close to Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond and the socialist Scottish National Party. His organisation has received British taxpayers' cash, including some before it was legally established and "entitled" to do so.

The Times also reveals that more "mainstream" British Muslims were adherents of al-Awlaki:

Despite his extremist reputation, the cleric has attracted widespread support from mainstream British Muslim groups and individuals.

Azad Ali, president of the Civil Service Islamic Society, wrote last November that Mr Awlaki was “one of my favourite speakers and scholars”.

Mr Ali, whose society’s patron is Sir Gus O’Donnell, the Cabinet Secretary, distanced himself from the cleric’s views last night. He said: “I reject them and disassociate myself from them completely.”

Of course he does, now - publicly, at least. That pension is far too lucrative to lose.

In the article's comments section, a Muslim accuses the critics of these men of hypocrisy - isn't someone entitled to change his mind?

Well, maybe - but would a former BNP member, for example, be given the same courtesy? I think not. In fact, if someone like Salmond was known to have associated with such people, that would probably be the end of his career, however innocent he was of any wrongdoing or impeccable his own credentials.

The second story to confirm the folly of 'out reach' concerns David Cameron's new, cuddly Tories. Desperate to win their share of the Muslim vote, the party sanctioned a website called the "Conservative Muslim Forum" in 2005.

Now they are A) trying to distance themselves from the project, and B) track down the man who designed it for them, because it features large chunks of text from Islam Online, written by hate preacher Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is banned from both Britain and America and has called the slaughter of Israeli civilians "a necessary Jihad":
Officials were trying to contact the man they had employed to create the Conservative Muslim Forum's website to ask why it features chunks of text from IslamOnline, which was established by Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who was described as "dangerous and divisive" by David Cameron.

"That particular piece you mention, about charity, was, indeed, lifted from a website, but they can't tell for sure which one," says a spokesman for the Tories. "It is reasonable to assume that it is from the website [IslamOnline]. It should have been attributed."

The spokesman points out that the passage was "in line with mainstream Muslim thought".

Al-Qaradawi, who helped set up IslamOnline in 1997, has been banned from America since 1999 and from Britain since 2008 because of his extremist views.

In 2003, he expressed his support for suicide attacks against Israeli civilians, which he called a "necessary Jihad". He is held to be the unofficial leader of the Muslim Brotherhood by a number of informed authorities.

The Conservative Muslim Forum was established in 2005 to increase the Tories' understanding of Muslim issues and encourage Muslim involvement in the party.

It seems that the Conservative Party, like many of the rest of us, have genuinely failed to "understand Muslim issues" - like the fact that a significant portion of the Muslims we are "reaching out" to wish to subvert our society and our values in favour of their own.

Pandering to them only helps that, it in no way hinders it. That won't matter, however - governing our society has simply become a competition as to who can be most politically correct and who can sell us out the fastest.

Libya Gives the Lockerbie Bomber a Hero's Welcome

Whilst the son of the Libyan leader has gone on record to declare that the Lockerbie bomber, responsible for the deaths of 270 innocents, was released to smooth along an oil and gas deal between Libya and BP.

More interestingly, he states that Gordon Brown asked for 'sensitivity' to be shown to the mass murderer, and also that the release is a 'great victory' for Libya.

Well, at least he's honest about it.

Here
is Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi arriving back in Libya and receiving the hero's welcome Gaddafi promised would never happen:

As thousands cheered, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi was escorted down the steps of his plane by Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, son of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Thousands of people waving Libyan and Scottish flags, and Megrahi posters

Whilst Scotland is bracing itself for potential boycotts after its flag was waved during the jubilant scenes as the bomber returned home, Colonel Gaddafi went on Libyan television to embrace the bomber and thank his "courageous friend" Gordon Brown:

'And I say to my friend Brown, the Prime Minister of Britain, his Government, the Queen of Britain, Elizabeth, and Prince Andrew, who all contributed to encouraging the Scottish government to take this historic and courageous decision, despite the obstacles.'

Foreign Secretary David Miliband rejected suggestions that the Government wanted 57-year-old Megrahi released so commercial relations with oil-rich Libya could be improved.

'I really reject that entirely,' he said. 'That is a slur both on myself and the Government.'

The trade claim will intensify demands for Mr Brown to come clean about exactly what contacts Britain had with the former pariah state before Megrahi was freed on compassionate grounds - he has terminal prostate cancer.

Speaking on Libyan television, Colonel Gaddafi's son said Mr Blair raised the Megrahi case repeatedly to smooth the way for British firms to tap into Libya's energy reserves.

He told the Al Mutawassit channel: 'In all commercial contracts, for oil and gas with Britain, (Megrahi) was always on the negotiating table.'

Yes, Mr Miliband - you're all so innocent and trustworthy, aren't you?

How much more shame are these imbeciles going to pile on this country before they are finally kicked out of office?

Lockerbie Bomber Set to Be Freed

From The Daily Mail:

American relatives of the Lockerbie bombing victims were today shocked by reports that the man found guilty of Britain's worst terrorist atrocity is to be released.

The Scottish government plans to allow Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, who has terminal cancer, to return to Libya on compassionate grounds next week.

In 2001 he was sentenced to 27 years for planting a bomb on a Pan Am jet that exploded over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988, killing 270 people.

Susan Cohen, whose daughter Theodora, 20, was on board, said: "Any letting out of Megrahi would be a disgrace."

She added: 'I'm not surprised because there's been every attempt to get Gaddafi everything he wants.

'If the Scots do this, they should be ashamed of themselves. The man is a mass murderer and he would be given a sympathy he did not afford his victims.'

Some 270 people died when Pan Am flight 103 was blown up over Lockerbie in December 1988.

Megrahi was convicted of the atrocity in 2001. He has always maintained his innocence and is currently bringing a second appeal against his conviction.

The Scottish Executive last night denied a report on BBC2's Newsnight programme that there had been a decision to free him, describing it as 'speculation'.

A spokesman for First Minister Alex Salmond said: 'No decision has been taken, either on the application for compassionate release or the application under the prisoner transfer agreement.'

Gordon Brown and Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi discussed Megrahi in a one-to-one talks on the sidelines of the G8 summit in Italy last month.

Colonel Gaddafi asked Mr Brown to help let Megrahi serve the rest of his sentence in Libya.

Earlier this month Scots Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill met Megrahi in prison, a move seen as paving the way for him to return to Libya. Megrahi is said to have pleaded to be allowed to die in his homeland.

Mr MacAskill has the final say over whether he should be released or transferred and is expected to announce his decision this month.

He cannot grant a transfer while Megrahi's appeal is going through the courts, but if the Libyan was freed on compassionate grounds there would be no need for him to drop his appeal.

Liberal Democrat justice spokesman Robert Brown said: 'If this decision is confirmed then it is wrong in principle, wrong in practice and sets the wrong precedent.

'This is a man who was convicted in a Scottish court under the eyes of the world of the worst atrocity in Scotland in modern times.'

But freedom for Megrahi was backed by Dr Jim Swire, whose daughter Flora was also killed. He has long maintained Megrahi's innocence and appealed for him to be returned to Libya.

Dr Swire said: 'I don't believe he was involved in this terrible crime.

'My view is that the sooner he goes home to his family the better and the better for the reputation of Scotland as well.

'If he dies in a Scottish prison and he's subsequently proven not to be guilty, it's going to look terrible.'

A spokesman for the Scottish Executive said: 'Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill is considering all the representations and hopes to make a decision this month.'

I know that many believe this man is simply a scapegoat for the real Libyan terrorists, who may have been backed by either Syria or Iran, but why should he go free?

He was convicted under Scottish law for a wicked atrocity in which 270 people died, and he should die in prison - or confess who the real culprits are.

Scotland Must Become "a Melting Pot"

Jim Murphy, the Scottish Secretary, is determined that Scotland will follow England's failed experiment with mass immigration and multiculturalism.

Apparently our friends north of the border are not getting their fair share of diversity or cultural enrichment.

Therefore he has declared that immigrants who go to Scotland could be eligible for bonus points, which will help them on their path to British citizenship (and the ability to enrich us all).

His greatest wish is that Scotland should become a crime ridden hellhole a 'melting pot':

Immigrants who choose to live and work in Scotland could earn British citizenship more readily, according to Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy.

Writing in Scotland on Sunday, he says moving to Scotland could see immigrants earn points towards their application.

Points are granted according to things like skills, age and potential salary.

Mr Murphy said he wants to see Scotland become a melting pot - but he stressed new arrivals must be controlled under a tight immigration policy.

There is to be a consultation process on the proposal, but in his article Mr Murphy writes of the demographic challenge facing Scotland, with an ageing population and the need to recruit in sectors such as tourism.

Scotland Office Minister Jim Murphy
Jim Murphy wants to see Scotland become a melting pot

The article says a new "points-based" test for citizenship will credit applicants if they have set up home in parts of the country in need of increased population.

Scotland has been singled out by the Home Office as a place where points could be earned, because its own population is likely to fall over the long term.

Mr Murphy wrote: "Our need for a growing population is ranked along with the need to recruit to shortage occupations."

The current system means foreigners can apply for British citizenship on the basis they are settled and have lived in the country for a specified period of time.

Cafe Owner Threatened by Muslim Thugs in Scotland

A Pakistani atheist who runs a cafe in Scotland has been forced to wear a bullet-proof vest to work after being threatened by Muslim thugs who disapprove of his serving alcohol and distributing atheist literature.

From The Daily Record:

A PAKISTANI cafe boss yesterday claimed death threats from religious extremists had forced him to wear a bulletproof vest.

Jimshaed Sharif, 50, says he has become a target for fanatical Muslims because he plays music and serves alcohol.

Dad-of-two Jimshaed added: "I have to take these threats seriously and have been forced to start wearing a bulletproof vest.

"It is not that I think they will shoot me but I have to do everything I can to protect myself and knives are a worry.

"Muslim thugs have threatened to kill me and petrol bomb my cafe because I play music and serve customers alcohol.

"I am being targeted because I do not share their Islamic beliefs and I think this is shocking. We are supposed to live in a free country and I just want to live a free man.

"I consider myself Scottish because I was brought up here and even though I was born in Lahore a Muslim, I no longer hold any religious beliefs.

"I am being punished because of this and it is not right.

"I am prepared to stand up to these fanatics and want to send them a message that I will not be bullied into silence. I will continue to entertain my customers with Western music like Tom Waits, Radiohead and Mozart and serve them beer.

"This my city, my home. How dare they try to intimidate me and threaten me like this. It is intolerable."

Jimshaed, who runs the Pakistani Cafe on the south side of Glasgow, went on: "I have even put a note in the window saying, 'We do not welcome Nazis, religious bigots, sexist or racist people' because I am against any of that. It disgusts me."

A few days ago dad-of-two Jimshaed arrived at his restaurant to find his windows smashed in with a hammer. He said: "It was the second time my windows had been smashed but this time I think we might have CCTV footage of some kind and I reported it to the police."

Jimshaed said one man had demanded he remove books by Salman Rushdie - a figure of hate for hardline Muslims since his novel The Satanic Verses - from the books he keeps for his customers.

He said: "When I refused and told him to leave he smashed my window.

"One Friday some weeks ago when the restaurant was packed with customers, a young Pakistani man came in and told me that I must not play music or sell alcohol.

He wanted to put a leaflet in my window campaigning for a separate Muslim cemetery. It made me sick and I told him there was no way I would entertain it.

"Eventually he left but within 15 minutes about 12 men drove up outside my cafe in big fancy cars.

"They came into the cafe and started causing a disturbance telling me I had to stop playing music and selling alcohol.

"It got so bad I had to call the police.

"They said they had enough evidence to charge them with breach of the peace and asked me if I wanted to go ahead with it but I said no because I thought it would cause me more hassle in the long term."

Police said they had received a report of a vandal attack at the restaurant.

A spokeswoman said: "No arrests have been made and our inquiries are ongoing."
