Disabled Woman Smeared wih Excrement and Robbed

A disabled pensioner with Crohn's disease was smeared with excrement and robbed of over £2,000 holiday money she had just withdrawn from a bank.

Margaret Hogwood, 69, who uses a stroller, was distracted in this disgusting manner by two young women outside the disabled toilet within the main toilets at Ealing Broadway Centre.

While she was waiting to use the toilet the two women of Eastern European appearance pointed to her clothes and when Margaret went into the toilet to clean them off she realised her money had been stolen.

Margaret, who lives in sheltered accommodation in Eaton Rise, Ealing, said she thought the women were trying to get chewing gum off her clothes. She said she was stunned and disgusted at the cruel robbery.

The Broadway Centre has handed over CCTV to the police who are investigating.
