Bomb Parts Recovered in Berkeley

A reader sent me a link to this story via email. It happened in late July, but no further information seems to be available:
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing explosive materials at a home in the Berkeley hills, police said Monday.

Officers investigating a 911 hang-up call at 976 Grizzly Peak Blvd. at 12:30 p.m. Saturday arrested Emoru Oboke Obbanya, 27, authorities said.

Obbanya refused to open the door at first, then came outside and immediately closed the door, police Lt. Andrew Greenwood said. He appeared nervous, cursed the officers and refused to provide evidence that he lived there, police said.

Officers obtained a search warrant and found bomb-making chemicals and other items used to make explosives, police said.

Police said they didn't know what Obbanya planned to do with the material. He was arrested on weapons and explosives charges and is being held on $121,500 bail.

I'd be grateful if anyone had any information on this.
