A BOLTON man will stand trial on two charges of sexual assault.
Khalid Mahmood, aged 38, of Loxham Street, Moses Gate, denies assaulting a woman aged over 16 after touching her without consent and was committed for trial on August 27.
Trafford Magistrates Court heard that Mahmood was already due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester, on August 26 for a similar alleged offence and that the judge was keen to hold a joint trial.
Mahmood was released on unconditional bail and an application for a joint trial will be made.
