I just received the following information from 'niccolo65', who blogs at 'The Frozen North'.
"Police in Holland have arrested seven people, all of them Dutch citizens of Moroccan origin, and charged them with preparing an act of terrorism. They are suspected of plotting a terrorist attack on a number of shops on Arena Boulevard in Amsterdam.

There don't appear to be any further details as yet, but the link above speculates on a possible family connection with one of the Madrid bombers.
