Lord Ahmed is Free on Friday

The BBC news site has revealed that 'Lord' Nazir Ahmed will be freed from prison tomorrow.

Three judges ruled on his appeal this afternoon; it was decided that although the jail term was justified, 'in this instance exceptional action can be taken' and the sentence will be suspended for 12 months.

Ahmed was due to be released on 20th March after killing a man in a car accident.
