"Hate" crime one:

A churchgoer who left pork products outside a mosque during a hate campaign against Muslims has been put behind bars.

John White, 63, left rashers of bacon outside the religious building in South Shields, and similar products outside worshippers' homes.

'Such foul discrimination is offensive to all right minded people, regardless of their religious beliefs.'

But the judge said White, who lives near the mosque and has attended a church in the same street for over 30 years, must be kept in custody until he is sentenced in September.

So, White will be kept in prison until his sentence is passed in September - for 5 counts of "religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress."

Whilst I don't condone what he did, I'm convinced the courts have set far more dangerous and criminally minded people free to walk amongst us - is he really a huge threat to society?

"Hate" crime two:

A taxi driver ranted racial abuse outside a Jewish school after getting stuck in a traffic jam.

Taha Osman shrieked ‘All Jewish children must die!’ after his car was hemmed in by parents picking up pupils outside King David School in Crumpsall.

Two mums on the school run and a teaching assistant were singled out in a foul-mouthed and ‘frightening’ tirade witnessed by kids, Manchester Crown Court heard.

Osman – an Iraqi Kurd who has settled in Britain – also shouted that Jewish people were ‘animals’ who ‘should not be allowed in this country’.

Say what you like about this chap, but he certainly doesn't do irony, does he?

The 36-year-old denied causing religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress in a trial, but was found guilty by the jury.
The court heard Osman launched his tirade on October 5, after a traffic jam formed on Seymour Road outside King David School.

Osman was on his way to Tesco when he got stuck in the congestion lost his temper at the driver in front of him, Sigal Bar-Ilan.

Caroline Franks told the court that she had collected her children, aged four and six, from the school, when she saw him shouting at Mrs Bar-Ilan.

When Mrs Franks got out of her vehicle to help the woman manoeuvre her car, Osman screamed vile racial insults at them both.

Mrs Bar-Ilan said her daughter began to cry and her son asked ‘Why’s the man shouting at you mummy?’ She told the jury the incident ‘scared the hell out of my children and out of me’.

Mrs Franks said the abuse continued even after she got back in her car, and Joanne Cantor, a teaching assistant, said she was ‘shocked’ by the rant, which led the victims to contact people.

Sentencing Osman, of Roch Bank, Blackley, Judge Stockdale said that his language had been of the ‘utmost offensiveness’.

He added: “Your rant on that afternoon crossed the boundary between what would have been ill-mannered, foul-mouthed loutish behaviour into the territory of criminal behaviour.

So, White admitted the charges against him, wasn't actually threatening or abusive to anyone, and seems to be a man with mental health issues who bizarrely thought leaving pork outside a mosque was some sort of revenge for the poppy-burning protest held by Muslims in London on Remembrance Day last year.

Osman genuinely has a violent hatred for a certain section of British society, and seems to be a man whose temper is on a knife-edge, even around children - plus he denied the charges against him and had to be subject to an expensive trial.

What penalty did Osman receive?

Sentencing him to a community order, Judge David Stockdale QC said it was a ‘particularly nasty offence’ – but did not warrant a jail sentence.

Of course it didn't.

In fact, many would probably be surprised at just what doesn't "warrant a jail sentence" in New Britain. Just so long as you keep those packets of bacon to yourself, you can pretty much do what you like.

It really is beginning to look like some thought criminals are more equal than others, isn't it?

More Reasons to Shop at Morrisons

This story reaches us from Nottingham:

SUPERMARKET Morrisons has apologised after a Muslim family bought a tuna salad which contained ham.

The family from Carlton bought two pasta salads which were labelled as tuna salads from Morrisons in Netherfield last month.

But when they got home they discovered it was a ham salad.

It is against the family's religion to eat meat from a pig. The mum-of-two in the family, who did not want to be identified, complained to Morrisons about the mis-labelled food.

Fair enough. The salads were labelled wrongly, and most supermarkets would apologise and offer a refund or a replacement upon being informed of the mistake.

Ordinarily, of course, this might even be enough to absolve them of such a terrible sin.

She said: "My children and I have never eaten ham before so we didn't know what it looked like. But we realised straight away that it was not tuna in the salad and my children were very distraught."

Distraught? Why? Apart from anything else, the Koran makes it quite clear that ingesting pork by mistake is not haram.

She also said she was unhappy with the response she received from Morrisons.

Ah, now we're getting somewhere. Can someone hear supermarket tills ringing?

So, what was this slap in the face of a response?

She said: "I received a £15 gift voucher as an apology but this is not enough. Morrisons need to realise the damage they have done. If food is mis-labelled, people could have allergic reactions when picking produce they think is safe to eat."

These things happen, and under the circumstances I think Morrisons have been more than generous - a £15 gift voucher is more than most people would receive if they complained about something like this, unless they were particularly dogged about it.

I can't imagine the event making the local paper, either.

If she or one of her children actually had suffered an allergic reaction to the ham and died, then perhaps we could look at what Morrisons owe her family. As it is, absolutely nothing happened, except for something that is routine in supermarkets throughout Britain on a daily basis - so how much exactly would be "enough"?

She just wants to blow this out of all proportion because she's playing the extremely tattered, incredibly over-used Islamic victim card; she doesn't want to be treated like everyone else, but better than everyone else, because any offence is clearly far more grievous if committed against a Muslim.

How long before supermarkets in certain "enriched" parts of the country stop serving haram products at all, lest a terrible thing like this occur again?

7 Arrested for Gang Rape in Australia

SEVEN males have been charged with the gang rape of a woman in Bendigo.
Police allege the men unlawfully imprisoned and repeatedly raped the woman at a residence in Flora Hill early on Sunday.

Four of the men, Mohammad Zaoli, 21, Mohammed Elnour, 18, Aru Gar, 19, and Akoak Manon, 18, appeared via video link in the Bendigo Magistrates Court yesterday. They each face 17 charges, including 14 of rape. The other three accused are aged 14, 16 and 17 and cannot be named. They appeared in a children's court on the same 17 charges.

Zaoli, Elnour, Gar and Manon were remanded in custody until Friday when they were expected to seek bail. Their co-accused were expected to apply for bail in a children's court on the same day.

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish my readers and those who contribute here a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.

I would also like to pass on my thanks.

Thank you not only for reading and in some cases coming back after some very prolonged absences on my part, but thank you also for caring - for caring about what is happening to Britain and the West, for caring about freedom and all those victims who aren't deemed important enough to be given a voice of their own.

I know that this blog is often a very disheartening read, and we are approaching a time of goodwill; but I ask you to spend a brief moment thinking about those who have appeared in these posts over the last two years.

Those who will not be with us this year, those who have had their lives shattered in various ways, their friends and their families.

They deserve to be remembered when others, those who purport to be our protectors, look away and pretend they are invisible.

That is the main reason I began this blog, and that is why I intend to continue with it.

Michael Ntiamoah, a Ghanan working as a federal law enforcement officer in Atlanta, has been arrested after shooting dead his wife and her new boyfriend:

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Channel 2 Action News has confirmed that a man accused of shooting and killing his estranged wife and her new boyfriend, is a federal law enforcement officer.

A spokeswoman for United States Customs and Border Protection said Michael Ntiamoah, 32, worked as a uniformed officer at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

"I guess people just snap and make horrible decisions," said one neighbor who didn't want to be identified. "I think it's something to be looked into really. I'm shocked that he was that much of a public official. I'm really shocked," she added.

Cobb County police said Ntiamoah showed up on Bexley Place early Saturday morning at the home of his estranged wife, Fatoumata Ntiamoah, and her new boyfriend, Mohamed Zaine.

Neighbors said they heard nearly 30 shots, and watched as Ntiamoah chased his wife down the street shooting at her. She died in a neighbor's driveway. Zaine was found inside their home.

"That feels less scary than a drug deal gone bad," said neighbor Rob Carswell. He was relieved to hear the shootings were a personal matter, but was concerned about Ntiamoah's job.

"What are the standards for becoming a law enforcement federal official? It's kind of scary and are we to the point where we're employing so many that we let standards slip? That's a big question," Carswell told Channel 2 Action News investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer.

The spokeswoman would not disclose Ntiamoah's specific duties or how long he'd been with the federal agency. Cobb police would not confirm whether his service weapon was used in the shootings, saying any description of the gun is considered evidence.

Customs and Border Protection officers are responsible for screening people and their belongings, along with cargo as they enter the country.

The agency would not release any information about whether the officer would be suspended pending his trial.

Ntiamoah is being held without bond at the Cobb County Jail.

Truly frightening.

I must say that the main thing I take away from this case (apart from the obvious) is the question:

Isn't it some sort of conflict of interest for an immigrant, particularly one from a Third World country with high rates of corruption, to serve as a Customs and Border Protection officer?

I assume the job would include interviewing people about their visas and their reasons for entering the U.S. at the airport.

What's worrying is that I'm now so used to news like this, so used to the madness of it all just being taken as normal, that that was genuinely my first question on the matter.

Still, I suppose he'll now be filling a prison cell that an American just wouldn't fill.

As for the question Robert Carswell raises in the article - is it that they're employing so many federal officers these days, or is it more that they have to tick so many boxes about celebrating diversity that the likes of Ntiamoah looks far better to a recruitment officer than he really should?

Murder of American Woman by Palestinians May Have Been Initiation Into Terror Group

I wrote previously about the killing of Kristine Luken (also named by some sources as Christine Logan), who was stabbed to death by two Arab men whilst hiking near Jerusalem.

Her friend, an Israeli originally from Britain, survived the attack by playing dead.

Israeli authorities are now investigating whether or not the murder was part of an initiation into a terrorist group:

Israeli authorities are investigating the weekend stabbing death of an American woman in a forest outside Jerusalem as a possible initiation into a terrorist organization, sources close to the case tell FoxNews.com.

Kristine Luken, 44, of Sterling, Va., was killed Saturday while hiking with a friend and tour guide in the wooded hills outside Jerusalem.

Luken, who worked for Christ Church Jerusalem -- the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East -- was found dead with multiple stab wounds and her hands bound. Her friend, Kaye Susan Wilson, a naturalized Israeli from the U.K., was stabbed 12 times but managed to escape by pretending she was dead.

Wilson recounted the harrowing tale from her hospital bed Sunday, telling reporters that she and Luken were attacked by two Arab men with what looked like a bread knife.

While Israeli authorities are probing "all angles," sources close to the investigation told FoxNews.com that police are "seriously considering" the stabbing "an act of terrorism."
One source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the killers may have been "amateurs" and "young initiates" into a terror group.
"This may have been their first kill in order to give them a pass into some kind of terrorist group," the source said.

It surely can't be - we all know that the only thing standing in the way of peace in the Middle East is Israeli settlements!

Seriously though, cases such as this serve to give the world an insight into what ordinary Israelis face every day.

A Letter from a Flemish Mother

Gates of Vienna posted the following earlier, and I thought it was worth reproducing here.

In its way it does more to sum up the collective mental condition that has gripped the Western world than a thousand posts on blogs such as this one.

This letter was forwarded to a blogger on a Dutch news site. It was written by a woman in Antwerp to the mother of an imprisoned Moroccan criminal. The woman wrote the letter after seeing the criminal’s mother on a Flemish television news program.

Dear Madam,

I saw your vehement protests in front of the TV cameras against the transfer of your son from a prison in Aarlen to a prison in Leuven. I heard your complaints about the distance that separates you from your son and the difficulties you have in visiting him.

I also noticed the media attention from journalists and reporters about other mothers in similar situations: they are defended by several organization for human rights and such.

I am also a mother, and I completely understand your protests and discontents. I want to join you in your battle because, as you will see, there is also a large distance between me and my son.

I work hard, earn less, and have the same financial difficulties in visiting my son. With a lot of effort I can reach him on Sundays, because I work all the other days, even Saturdays, and besides that I have my family duties towards my other children.

In case you didn’t understand it yet: I am the mother of the boy that was brutally slaughtered by your son, in the gas station he used to work for at night to pay for his studies and support his family.

I will visit him again next Sunday. While you hold your son in your arms and cuddle him, I shall only lay some flowers on his modest grave at the city cemetery.

Oh, and I almost forgot: you don’t have to worry, the state keeps a part of my lousy wage to pay for a new bed for your son, because he burned the two previous ones in his cell where he is doing time for the brutal crime he committed.

Finally, also as mothers, maybe we can contribute something to stop the inversion of human values. Human rights should only be there for the rightfully deserving.

So much for a letter from a grieving mother. Maybe this is something that we, in these dark days, should think about more often!

Man Stabbed by "Southerners" in Kiel

I've translated the following report from the Kieler Nachrichten, via Politically Incorrect.

In the German press, "southerner" is a term generally used to refer to Turks and Arabs:

According to the current investigation, the young man was on his way home at 4am. At the corner of Dammstraße and Fleethörn he met two men, who demanded his cash and mobile phone.

As he turned and ran, the assailants stabbed him in the shoulder and thigh. The victim managed to flee on foot across Hofstraße and make it inside his flat, where he tended to his bleeding injuries and alerted the emergency services.
The man, who had been drinking, was taken to the Uniklinikum where his stab wounds were treated.
The man said that the perpetrators were two Southerners. They were about 1.70 meters tall and 20 to 25 years old.

As one of the commentators at PI points out, both the thigh and shoulder contain major arteries - this is really a case of attempted murder being treated as attempted robbery and assault.

One wonders how many other such cases such as this go unremarked upon as they're downgraded in seriousness across Germany and the rest of Europe each evening.

Man Beats Neighbour to Death with Snow Shovel in Schnellenbach

A dispute over snow-clearing reached a tragic end when a man beat his neighbour to death with a snow shovel in North Rhine-Westphalia, police said Tuesday.

In the town of Schnellenbach, a man named by daily Bild as Abdulbah I., 45, repeatedly hit his neighbour, 49-year-old Wolfgang K., with the shovel on Monday, according to police and the state prosecutor in Cologne.

Bild reported that the two men had repeatedly argued in recent days over whose responsibility it was to clear the snow on the common entrance to their properties. They were both shovelling snow yesterday afternoon when the attack happened about 1:30 pm Monday. A murder investigation has been established.

Abdulbah I. is married and a father of eight children, according to Bild. The victim was also a father.

The two men had been feuding for some time and had even gone before a court because of long-running disputes. The victim had to cross Abdulbah I.’s land to get to his own home, the Cologne daily Express reported. Wolfgang K. also reportedly often antagonized his murderer.

"Wolfgang provoked him frequently," a neighbour told Bild.

Oh, well if Wolfgang "provoked him frequently" he probably deserved to end up battered to death.

Perhaps he wasn't an enthusiastic celebrant of diversity?

We might never know.

The German blog Politically Incorrect has slightly more information. The killer, Abdulbah I., is Lebanese.

Wolfgang K. (above) had two children - Marco (17) and Jenny (13). They are now orphans, because around the same time last year their mother died of a heart attack.

Abdulbah struck Wolfgang several times on the head with the shovel, and he was dead when paramedics arrived on the scene.

Abdulbah has been remanded in custody and is claiming "diminished responsibility."

Somali Convicted of Rape in Södertälje

I have directly translated this case from Swedish (the original report, in Swedish, can be found here at the Politiskt Inkorrekt blog):

Politiskt Inkorrekt reported in mid-June this year the case of a woman with a light mental disability who was suspected to have been the victim of a rape in a lift located in the Galleria Luna in Södertälje.

The 49-year-old man who was accused worked as a teacher at a religious private school in Söderort, a school that later turned out to be a Muslim one.

Södertälje district court's ruling of July 22, 2010 (Case No. B 1571-10) acquitted the man of rape, but the sentence was later challenged by prosecutors. They have now challenged the ruling in the Swedish Court of Appeal, and have received a different judgment from the district court.
It was on 12 May that the woman, who walked with crutches, got into the same lift at Galleria Luna as the 49-year-old man. The man is accused by the woman of raping her. This must have happened while they travelled up and down in the lift, roughly two trips. The teacher has admitted that they have performed various sexual acts in the lift, but denies rape.
The 49-year-old teacher argues that the woman demanded sex, otherwise she would report him for rape. In addition, she wanted to have 200 Kroner for the sex acts, he claims. The district court acquitted the man because it was her word against his, but the Court of Appeal takes a different view. Three of the five members voted to convict the man of rape, the other two wanted an acquittal.
The 49-year-old Muslim teacher announced through his lawyer Dennis Harding that the ruling will be appealed at the Supreme Court. If the man will be allowed to maintain his employment as a teacher after that is not clear from the information.
For rape Swedish Court of Appeal sentenced Ahmed Mohamed Yusuf, born 1961-12-10 and a citizen of Somalia, to two years imprisonment and ordered him to pay 85 400 kroner in damages.

We see the usual pattern; it was all the infidel woman's fault, he was set up - and even when he is convicted and given a paltry sentence, he still won't accept it.

I note that deportation was not mentioned.

This Burglar Is Not a Burglar...

Meet Joseph Bascombe, 28.

Bascombe was part of a gang that burgled the house of 42 year old Charles Reid, stealing, among other things, the Distinguished Flying Cross which had been posthumously awarded to his grandfather during the Second World War.

Mr Reid, who has a nephew currently serving in Afghanistan, was understandably upset:

Mr Reid said in a statement read out in court: “One of the most upsetting issues was my grandfather’s medal, which has thankfully been returned. I was devastated when I found it had been stolen.”

The thieves, two of whom escaped and have not been traced, dropped a photograph of Mr Reid's grandfather Kenneth Foster at the scene, so he was convinced they would have realised the medal had sentimental value.

Not to worry though - Bascombe's defence has some words of comfort:

John Wolfson, defending, said Boscombe had admitted his crime on his first appearance at the magistrates court.

He said there was a ‘large degree of inevitability’ that he would receive a custodial sentence.

He said: “He is not as such a burglar, but a man who has had a long problem with drugs.”

It all becomes clear! This wasn't so much a burglary, but a little bit of an unauthorised boot sale.

It seems John Wolfson has missed his calling - he's not so much a lawyer, but a comedian. One we're no doubt paying for.

French Justice

Last week two cases were reported on in France which demonstrate the state of justice in modern Europe.

The first case saw the killers of Ilan Halimi, a French Jew who was brutally tortured to death by a gang of Muslim thugs calling themselves the barbarians, have their convictions upheld:

A French appeals court has upheld the convictions of 16 people for their roles in the 2006 kidnapping, torture and murder of a young French Jew - handing down sentences of up to 18 years in prison.

The appeals court in Creteil was hearing the appeals of defendants already convicted by a lower court into the slaying of Ilan Halimi, who was lured into their custody by a young woman, then sequestered and killed.

The ringleader, Youssouf Fofana, was not on trial in the proceedings that began Oct. 25: He chose not to appeal his conviction and life sentence. Fofana, a 28 year-old of Ivoirian origin, expressed no remorse and expressed defiance throughout his trial. On various occasions, he smirked at Halimi’s relatives, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and at one point threw shoes at lawyers.
The 23-year-old Halimi was held captive for over three weeks. He was found naked, handcuffed and covered with burn marks near railway tracks south of Paris on Feb. 13, 2006. He died on the way to a hospital.

The case shocked France and turned a spotlight on anti-Semitic violence in the poor, multi-ethnic suburbs around many big French cities.

According to several members of the gang that abducted and murdered Halimi, he was targeted because he was Jewish and was therefore believed to have money.

It is truly unbelievable that only the ringleader received a life sentence; any of the others involved could have ended Ilan's misery and suffering anytime they liked, but chose not to.

In this case, I think the death penalty would have been more than justified for all involved. At least it's something, however, that their convictions were upheld. In the mad house that is modern Europe, nothing can be taken for granted.

The second case saw Thierry Deve-Oglou, a violent recidivist, sentenced to 22 years in prison for the attemtped rape and murder of Anne-Lorraine Schmitt:

Deve-Oglou is accused of murdering Anne-Lorraine Schmitt in November 2007. The young woman was on her way to meet her parents to go to church when she found herself alone with the "alleged" killer in a car of the Regional Express Rail. Armed with a knife he stabbed her thirty-four times, and though she fought back and managed to turn the knife on him, wounding him in the thigh, she died from massive internal bleeding.

Her father, Philippe Schmitt, vowed that her death would not be in vain, and set about to fight for tougher sentences, especially in cases of recidivism. Deve-Oglou had already served two years of a five year sentence for sexually abusing another young woman several years earlier. He was released before the five years were up, a common practice in France.

Tiberge also has more information on the killer's previous offence:

The alleged murderer of Anne-Lorraine Schmitt had already been convicted for attacking a student. But the courts had not found him to be particularly threatening. At the criminal court of Beauvais, attorney for the bar of Senlis, Isabelle Pfeiffer had defended Thierry Deve Oglou's first victim - a student raped on January 25, 1995.

Figaro - What was Deve Oglou accused of at his first trial?

Pfeiffer - The affair was strangely similar to the tragedy of November 25. My client, a brilliant student of literature, was a beautiful young woman, blond and elegant. One week-day afternoon, she found herself alone in a car of the RER D with Thierry Deve Oglou who took out an Opinel knife and forced her to perform fellatio. With the aid of the railroad police patrols she was able to find the man who immediately admitted the act. Since it was his first rape, the examining judge proposed to send the case to "correctional" court, as if it were a matter of a sexual aggression. I remember that my client had replied: "I am not vindictive, but I very much want this man to be judged in criminal court ("assises")

Note: "Correctional" court tries lesser crimes. "Assises" greater crimes.

Figaro - The sentence passed down - five years, two without parole - seems lenient. Can you explain why?

Pfeiffer - First of all the facts had been minimized by the court, as if being forced to perform fellatio were not a real rape. Then Deve Oglou appeared to be an unfortunate guy, frustrated but not evil, who had yielded to an impulse, but was sorry. A salesman at the Bon Marché, he didn't have a girlfriend but admitted to having at times frequented prostitutes in Paris. At the trial he was surrounded by a family of Armenian origin, simple and modest, who had spontaneously paid for the damages. Everybody, including the experts, seemed to feel that there was no risk of repetition. For her part, my client appeared full of compassion and said with great generosity: "I know that this man risks 20 years of prison, but I do not seek vengeance. What I want, is to leave it up to you to decide upon the fair penalty." At the time, she was not shocked by the verdict.

The case has led to a debate amongst some French blogs and media outlets about length of sentences, recidivism - but any mention of the death penalty has seemingly been completely cut off as beyond the pale.

It seems once again, the criminal, no matter how brutal, repulsive or cowardly, will always get more consideration than the victim. It has always been my view, however, that the more savage elements we let in to walk amongst us, the more savage we will end up having to be to control them.

Soft justice might work in small, homogenous nations, but it won't work in an increasingly dangerous, atomised place like France.

Deve-Oglou's second chance cost Anne-Lorraine her life. It's a shame such things seem to mean very little to our elites.

I just worry about how many more such victims there will be.

32% of Muslim Students in Britain Support Killing for Islam

As another wave of anti-terror raids took place across the United Kingdom this morning, twelve men were taken into custody for questioning across Cardiff, Stoke-on-Trent and London.

It's only a matter of time before a smug Muslim cleric or politician appears on television, informing us that the "extremists" are a tiny minority and Islam is in fact a religion of peace, etc etc.

Well, the Vancouver Examiner has an interesting story:

32% of British Muslim students support killing for Islam; 40% want Sharia Law. If the way young Muslims in Britain are feeling is any indication for America’s own Muslim community, then America better beware. According to a new survey done at 30 universities in Britain, the young Muslim student body in that country is extremely radicalized.

The poll asked 600 Muslim students and 800 of their non-Muslim peers about politically touchy subjects like killing in the name of Islam and Sharia Law—and the results were like night and day between the two demographics. While hardly anyone in the non-Muslim sample accepted killing in the name of religion, basically one-third of all Muslim students in Britain supported this.

Other results in the pro-Islamist survey results are also troublesome. For instance, more than half of all British Muslim students insist on being represented by a political party that is Islam-based.

Largest Mosque in Holland Inaugurated - Police Denied Pork in Ijsseland

It seems some confusion reigns over the treatment of Muslims and the current status of Islam in The Netherlands.

According to the following article, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a confident creed in ascendancy:

The Essalam mosque, which is the largest in the Netherlands and one of the largest in Western Europe, has been inaugurated in Rotterdam.
The mosque was officially opened by Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb and Alderman Hamit Karakus (Housing and Town Planning) of the Rotterdam municipality. They, respectively Moroccan and Turkish, are Muslims themselves. Among the invited guests were the ambassadors of Dubai and Morocco, reported the Dutch English-language media NIS News.

The construction of the Essalam mosque, which offers space for 1 500 Muslims, took seven years and cost EUR 4 M. The new mosque, built in a traditional style with 50-meter minarets, is the biggest Islamic house of prayer in the Netherlands and one of the biggest in Western Europe.

The construction of the mosque did not go without trouble over concerns of the foreign funding much of which came from the Maktoum Charity Foundation of Dubai sheikh Hamad bih Rashid al-Maktoum, who also has placed his followers on the mosque management board.

Much opposition to the building existed in the years past, among others among the local population. Construction was halted for months several times.

Rotterdam city council threatened to withdraw the building permit, mainly under pressure from Liveable Rotterdam, the biggest party among white Rotterdammers. As well, a portion of the Moroccan Muslims who would make use of the mosque did not want the intervention from Dubai, NIS News points out.

So, the objections of the pesky Dutch locals were overcome, and the largest mosque in western Europe now stands in Rotterdam. You'll note that Rotterdam's Moroccan mayor was in attendance at the opening ceremony, along with many Muslim dignitaries.

Can this be right? Perhaps our eyes deceive us, because according to the leader of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA), Job Cohen, Muslims in The Netherlands are "excluded like 1930s Jews":

Muslims are excluded from present-day Dutch society, as also happened with Jews in the 1930s, in the view of Labour (PvdA) leader Job Cohen.

Cohen drew the controversial comparison in an interview with Vrij Nederlands weekly. He links his views to the rise of Geert Wilders. In reaction, the Party for Freedom (PVV) leader rejected Cohen's criticism as "disgusting."

Cohen, himself Jewish, recounts how his mother experienced around the time of the outbreak of the Second World War that Jews were slowly being excluded. He also sees this alienation now in society.

Yes, I'm sure his mother would be able to recall grand new synagogues being opened at around the same time, whilst Jewish mayors crowed in triumph about steam-rolling over the wishes of the majority - or, not.

Perhaps she might get some unpleasant flashbacks if she walked down the street in many Dutch cities and encountered some of these poor, excluded "youths," however.

It's strange because I don't see Muslims in The Netherlands being excluded - I see their every whim being catered for.

Take the following case from Ijsseland:

The Ijsseland regional police force supplies only pork-free lunches boxes, in order to take Muslims into consideration.

At first they offered both halal and regular lunch boxes. "But that didn't work," says a spokesperson. There weren't enough, or they didn't get to the right people. "We want to be a diverse force, therefore we take each other into consideration."

Lunch boxes are usually given out only during large-scale police operations. "More police forces do it this way."

Yes, they "want a diverse force" - so actual Dutch officers can just do as they're told and shut up about it.

Sounds like a real anti-immigrant dystopia, doesn't it?

It seems to me the only thing likely to turn Dutch people away from being inclusive is the special treatment many immigrants get, and the behaviour they display towards the natives in return.

Either way, to compare the situation with what Jews went through in the 1930s is very offensive - to the Jews.

SVP's Oskar Freysinger Narrowly Avoids Assassination in Paris

Oskar Freysinger of the Swiss People's Party had a lucky escape at an anti-Islamisation conference in Paris this weekend.

Security intercepted a man with a knife who claimed to be seeking to kill him.

From Le Post:

Oskar Freysinger narrowly avoided a knife attack at a conference in Paris and called "Focus against the Islamization of Europe."

The Swiss politician was invited to speak on the Swiss model of direct democracy.

The holding of this meeting had already caused controversy this week.

The mayor of Paris in particular had requested the ban.

Oskar Freysinger was said to be "cool" after the incident. "I held the knife in my hands. This weapon was intended to kill, "he said.

Earlier in the conference room, Oskar Freysinger was welcomed as a hero and cheered as the man who brought down the minarets.

Outside the hall, some 200 opponents protested against this anti-Islam rally. The demonstration dispersed peacefully at midday.

Below is a video of the "peaceful" protesters - one is holding an Islamic banner that she exclaims will "soon be at the Elysee Palace."

Preaching the Koran in Scandinavia

It's not Muslims doing the preaching, however - in Norway it is a vicar, and in Sweden it is a teacher.

The first example is from Ellingsrud, Oslo:

The Oslo district Elllingsrud has faced a commotion after minister Clara Vogl of Ellingsrud's church announced that she intends to read from the Koran to school children for julgudstjänst [a traditional Scandinavian Christmas service]. Initially, the priest thought that the children themselves would read the Koran, but the reactions have been so strong that she opted instead to read from it herself.
The move has brought strong reactions from parents. They say that they will not allow this and are upset that no information was given to parents in advance, either at school or church. Elisabeth Sjølie, who has children in school, says:
I do not mind that my children may learn about Islam, but I do not accept that she must preach the Koran, without my knowing it. Would you have forced Muslim children to read from the Bible during a major Islamic festival? I think this unlikely.
She adds that she and her children will be seeking to be relieved from the Norwegian Church as she no longer feels any confidence in this institution.

I must say, I find that reaction very pleasing. Elisabeth Sjolie perfectly sums up the double standards at play here; it is always the Norwegians who must adapt and be tolerant, never the Muslims.

There is a clear difference between learning objectively about other religions and having their holy tracts preached without qualification - for I imagine Clara Vogl sits very firmly in the "Islam is a religion of peace" camp, despite all evidence to the contrary.

The second example is from Sweden:

IN Torskolans nursery group, the children heard passages from the Koran.
- And that's why Jesus' mother and father had to go to Bethlehem.
- And now let's hear what the Quran says, Helen Sandberg Heed says to the play group from Tor school that meets in the library, whilst standing over the nativity scene.
With the help of small dolls Sandberg Heed tells the kids about the similarities and differences in the stories of Jesus in the Bible and the Koran.
- We are doing this because we have Muslim children in our communities. This story illustrates our common heritage, "says Helen Sandberg Heed.
- Today it's more important to highlight the joint where everyone is only talking about contradictions.

That's one way of looking at it. Another is that these people want to deconstruct traditional Swedish culture for their own ends.

Whilst some are so enthusiastic about what the Koran says, it seems fewer and fewer Swedish teachers have much time for what the Bible says - or even the cultural traditions reserved for Christmas time:

There will be no traditional julavslutning for Furubergs school children in Träslöv church - the priest wanted to say a prayer for the students, something that the school deemed "not appropriate".

"The reason is that the priest said he wants to say a prayer and a blessing over the children. We are satisfied that this is not okay," said Dan Randelid, one of the Furubergs School's two principals.
According to Randelid, the rules are clear - the school may not participate in anything with a "confessional element," and several judgments of the Schools Inspectorate confirms this. This was also the reason that the school contacted the church and the priest, Ola Bjervås, and asked if holding julavslutning in the church but without religious elements would be possible.

After Ola Bjervås declined, the school moved the entire thing to an auditorium. Perhaps the most extraordinary thing about the whole affair is the reaction of Bjervås, the vicar:

- We are very sad, not least because of the children. I can understand it, we live in a multicultural society, but it is a pity, for the reason we celebrate Christmas is based of course on Christian traditions. And it does not do children any harm.

This, I will remind you, comes from a vicar. If that half-hearted concession constitutes defending tradition, then I really don't hold out much hope for Sweden.

Islamic Zikr Inserted into Virginia Glee Club's Christmas Concert

An attempt to be politically correct upset some concert-goers in Virginia (via Weasel Zippers):

My husband and I attended the Virginia Glee Club’s annual Christmas Concert held at the Paramount. We thoroughly enjoyed this concert under the expert direction of Frank Albinder, with one exception.
The program was advertised as a Christmas concert, so we were surprised to see one of his selections, “Zikr.” This song has nothing to do with Christmas. It is a Muslim chant to their God. I think it is disingenuous to insert an Islamic chant, however good and exciting the music, which is the antithesis of Christian music.
Zikr reminds Muslims to remember their God — Allah, who is not the God of the Christians. We celebrate at Christmas the biblical view of God — that he is one in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. To give recognition to the Muslim’s God by putting this devotional chant along side Christian songs is totally inappropriate. Would a Ramadan celebration include a Christmas song?
The God of the Koran does not recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God the Father who came to earth to save us from our sins. Was this chant included for the purpose of political correctness?
Mr. Albinder does an outstanding job every year as the Glee Club conductor. I just hope he is more sensitive to his audience next year.

Once again, one can imagine what would happen if a traditional Christian hymn was inserted into an Islamic festival.

According to the account of the facts, the teacher was explaining the different climates in a geography class and cited the village of Trevelez due to its cold and dry climate. According to the newspaper account, ”as a story, the teacher told his students that such a climate was conducive to making hams
Then the student asked the teacher not to speak of hams since it offended him, because he was a Muslim. “

The teacher told the students that in his classes, he did not consider the religion of their students, but apparently the family did not stay at home when they learned the facts, to the extent that they went to the National Police to file a complaint without speaking in advance with the teacher.

According to ”El Diario de Cádiz“, the teacher “is accused of being the author of an alleged crime of abuse of workers, also alleging racist and xenophobic motives. “His school colleagues can’t believe what has happened and speak about the impeccable record of teaching reported."

The fact is, pork is a normal food throughout Christian Europe. Mentioning it is not an attempt to slyly offend a passing Muslim - but there's good money to be made if you're on the right side of the victim industry.

Complaints like this simply cannot be serious - this is an attempt to dominate and humiliate mainstream Spanish society.

In other words, to take them back several hundred years to the status of mere dhimmis in their own land. This time it seems it will be imposed by Spanish police and courts, before Muslim swords.

7 Hunters Shot Dead in Southern Russia

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Russia — Russian police say seven hunters and forest rangers have been shot dead in a wooded area in the volatile Caucasus region.

A police official who declined to be named because the investigation is still at an early stage said Saturday's shooting occurred in the province of Kabardino-Balkaria. Police said all victims had two to four gunshot wounds to the head.

In November 2007, the bodies of nine hunters and forest rangers were found in the same stretch of woodland. Police at the time said they had inadvertently strayed into the territory of militant Islamists who take shelter in the forests of the Caucasus and were killed by them.

Like other Caucasus regions near Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria has been plagued with insurgent violence in recent years.

Female Tour Guide "Stabbed by Arabs" in Israel UPDATED

A 46-year old tourist from the US was found bound Saturday evening near Beit-Shemesh, suffering from knife wounds in the stomach and chest.

The woman, who says she was attacked by two Arabs, succeeded in seeking medical attention at the edge of the town in which she was assaulted though her hands were bound. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

Police have launched a search for the culprits.

Haaretz, however, identifies the woman as an Israeli:

A woman in her 40s was stabbed Saturday while she was hiking in a mountainous area in the outskirts of Jerusalem.

The woman arrived in a nearby town, Moshav Mata, with her hands tied and bleeding from her chest and back. She told people in the town that she had been stabbed by two Arab men while she was hiking in a valley nearby.

Magen David Adom ambulance services arrived at the scene and transferred her to Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in serious condition, where her condition improved later to moderate and stable.

***UPDATE 19:10*** Y Net News has updated the story - the stabbed woman appears to be an Israeli tour guide. Her friend is still missing, and police are looking into the possibility that she has been kidnapped:

Police have launched a search in the forested hills surrounding Jerusalem.

The incident occurred, according to the wounded guide, after she and her friend ended a trip to a winery by hiking in the nearby riverbed.

On their way back they were attacked by two Arab youths, who stabbed them, she said. She succeeded in escaping their clutches, and made her way to a nearby road where, bleeding profusely, she sought help.

Police Commander Aharon Franco told reporters that security forces were streaming into the area to search for the hiker, who has been missing for three hours.

"We succeeded in getting a description of the assailants from the tour guide before she was taken to the hospital," Franco said.

"Right now we know nothing about (the missing woman). The victim gave us a description and we are conducting the search accordingly. We don't know much about the two assailants either."

Haaretz reports that the woman who was stabbed but escaped is an Israeli originally from Britain.

Her missing American friend, feared kidnapped by their Arab assailants, has been found dead:

Israeli security forces early Sunday found the body of Christine Logan, an American tourist woman feared kidnapped by Arab assailants while hiking with a friend near Jerusalem the day before.

Logan's friend, 46-year-old Kaye Susan Wilson, was hospitalized after she managed to escape her attackers despite multiple stab wounds and her hands tied behind her back.
Wilson, an immigrant from the United Kingdom who now resides in a Jerusalem-area community, told paramedics and police officers that she and Logan were assaulted by two Arab men while hiking at Khirbet Hanut, an archaeological site near Beit Shemesh.

Wislon said that she pretended to be dead to escape further attack and then managed to flee the scene and reach the road; Logan did not. After speaking briefly to investigators, Wilson was taken to the Hadassah University Hospital, where her condition was reported to be stable.

Police identified Logan's body early Sunday and are continuing to focus their investigation on the circumstances of the incident and searching after the perpetrators. Jerusalem District Police Chief Aharon Franco said on Saturday that the investigation would not rule out the possibility of the incident having been a terrorist attack.

An attack on two women that left an American tourist dead and the other in hospital with several knife wounds appears to have been politically motivated, Israeli police said Sunday.

Wilson told Israeli media that she and Logan were hiking in the hills southwest of Jerusalem Saturday when they were approached by two Arab men. She said the men asked them for water, and then she and her friend walked away.

When the women headed back to the main trail, they were suddenly and brutally attacked.

"It all happened so fast. They came and attacked us," Wilson, 46, told reporters.

She said one of the men took out a large knife -- "like a bread knife with a serrated edge," Wilson said -- and the men began to stab them.

"It was clear that they came to kill," she added. "Who carries around a knife like that?"

At one point, Wilson said one of her attackers took a Star of David chain off her neck, "then turned me around and stabbed in the place where the Star of David had been."

Inciting Holy War in New Zealand

Police intervened amid tense scenes as members fronted up to each other and at times wrestled and abused one another.

The extremist claims were based on four YouTube video recordings of speeches that are now removed from the website.

The mosque, which has more than a 1000 followers, has united various Sunni sects and Pakistani and Indo-Fijian Muslims, who combined to pay for the building.

Also known as the South Auckland Islamic Centre, it is the most influential mainstream mosque in New Zealand and Fiji.

But he also stressed Hamas has no plans to launch new attacks on the Jewish state and was instead focusing its efforts on state-building and providing an example of honest Palestinian governance.

“We are not saying ‘wait’ because we are not just sitting here,” he said. “We are reconstructing everything… For the first time, we are really administrating real progress in different ways, on all kinds of things.”

“We are giving a good example of purified administration,” he added.

They are indeed administering real progress - mainly in the field of enforcing Sharia law, with a good example of an administration purified of all elements that are politically or religiously suspect - all of it funded by Western and Israeli taxpayers or organised crime.

As for that "truce" - well, it will only last until they think they're strong enough to strike again, or until other time that suits them.

The little girl's heart and other organs were found in different rooms around the flat in Clapton, east London.
Police suspect she she carried out the killing as a religious offering as she listened to the Muslim holy book on an MP3 player at full volume.

She added: 'Usually you could only see her eyes.

The child's body was discovered at a property on Elderfield Road, Clapton, at about 1530 GMT on Thursday after reports of a knife incident.

A post-mortem examination is due to be held later in Poplar, east London.

Police said next of kin had been informed but formal identification has yet to take place.

The girl was pronounced dead at the scene, an address on the Chatsworth Estate.

The Scotland Yard unit which deals with child abuse is leading the murder inquiry.

Australian Preadators Arrested in New Zealand...

One Australian man has been jailed while another has walked from court after they had sex with a 14-year-old girl they met via the MySpace Internet site.

The Victorian County Court heard Steven Hondros, 19, contacted the victim and her friend through the Internet social networking site MySpace.

Hondros and his friend Ravinder Singh, 31, later picked up the victim and her friend from a train station before going to Singh's home in suburban Lalor in September last year.

The girls had been drinking from a bottle of alcohol in Singh's car and after they arrived at Singh's house, Singh had consensual sex with the 14-year-old girl.

Hondros also had consensual sex with her.

The court was told the victim had told Hondros earlier that day she was under 16.

Judge Sexton said the law was intended to protect young girls too immature to make proper choices about sexual activity and deal with the consequences.

For this reason the law protected them from themselves and adults who may take advantage of them, she said.

Judge Sexton said the victim was now suffering from the emotional impact of having sex with the accused, despite it being consensual.

She said she had nightmares and her confidence had deteriorated.

"She gets upset, feels guilty, has difficulty sleeping and trouble concentrating at school," Judge Sexton said.

Singh, who pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 16, was sentenced to two and a half years' jail, to serve a minimum of 10 months.

The judge acknowledged his tragic personal history and that his judgment at the time of his offending was impaired due to post traumatic stress disorder.

Hondros, of Thomastown, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual penetration of a child under 16.

He received a wholly suspended 15-month jail term after the judge found there were exceptional circumstances in his case including his youth, admissions, willingness to give evidence against his co-accused, and the narrow age gap between him and his victim.

I've never understood men being treated lightly in cases such as this because they have a "tragic personal history" - does making sure some other poor unfortunate does alleviate that in some way?

Another Soft Sentence in Victoria

An astonishing case from Australia:

A JUDGE who allowed six men involved in a vicious assault to walk free from court has been told by the victim's father, "you've got no balls".
Archie Dalli lashed out at County Court Judge James Montgomery for sentencing his son's attackers to community based orders instead of jail.
"Is that it? Is that it?" Mr Dalli yelled after Judge Montgomery had finished reading his sentence.
The six men smirked after the judge left the bench, provoking a tense exchange of insults with Mr Dalli’s family.
Victim Aaron Dalli was 18 when he was set upon by up to 10 men in May 2006 outside Fix Bar in Docklands. After a verbal stoush inside the venue, Mr Dalli was punched, kicked and stomped on as he lay unconscious.
He was lucky to survive the nasty attack, which left him brain damaged and struggling to walk.
Three of the six admitted assaulting Mr Dalli, while three others confessed to attacking three other victims.
Sinan Cekuc, 20, assaulted Mr Dalli inside the club while Orhan Bekar, 24, hit Mr Dalli inside the club before punching another patron outside.
Both men pleaded guilty to recklessly causing injury, assault and affray and were sentenced to serve 150 hours of unpaid community work as part of a one-year community based order, pay a $1000 fine and serve a six-month wholly suspended jail term.
Okan Yoruden, 23, was among a group of men who chased Mr Dalli and set upon him in a gang with Yoruden stomping on his stomach. He pleaded guilty to assault and affray and was ordered to serve 150 hours of unpaid community work and a six-month suspended jail term.
The remaining three, Yusuf Kilic, 24, Emrah Aslan, 24, and John Yussef, 23, pleaded guilty to charges of affray and assault. They were sentenced to serve 150 hours of unpaid community work and pay a $1000 fine.
Four more men are due to face a County Court trial next year.

So, they beat a young man to within an inch of his life in a cowardly gang attack, leave him brain damaged, show absolutely no remorse - and simply walk away from court laughing?

No wonder Mr Dalli was angry; aren't judges supposed to protect the decent and law-abiding rather than the criminals?

If this crime wasn't serious, then what is considered serious in Australia?

I'm guessing that if one of these savages had been beaten by a gang of white men, the judge would have been falling over himself in an effort to appear tough and make an example of them.

Happy Birthday Hamas! From all at the BBC

Hamas, the genocidal terrorist organisation of choice for British leftists, celebrated its 23rd birthday this week.

Whilst the good people at the Guardian seemingly forgot to send any halal goodies along with their good wishes, both al-Jazeera and the BBC were on good form.

Whilst al-Jazeera tersely stated:

“Resistance group throws 23rd anniversary rally, as tight Israeli siege makes Gaza’s Hamas rulers increasingly unpopular,"

the BBC reporters were apparently slightly more taken with what they saw, according to CiF Watch:

But the BBC? Hamas is unpopular? Perish the thought. Dear old Auntie (that is, Anti-Israel) instead stresses the “tens of thousands”, the “throngs” of supporters who – of their own free will of course - “filled the streets of Gaza” to watch the festive green balloons and listen to the tinny martial music and hear how, “Hamas leader Ismail Haniya says the Islamist movement is committed to Palestinian national reconciliation in order to fight the Israeli occupation”. How noble! But, any thoughts instead of making peace with Israel for the good of all? Thought not.

Indeed. Whilst spending our licence fees enjoying the celebrations, I see no mention of recent Hamas activities (and actual news) such as seriously wounding an IDF soldier over the weekend.

It's particularly ironic that, whilst the BBC are cooing over these celebrations, Hamas morality police are increasingly cracking down on anyone deemed to be doing anything "un-Islamic" in Gaza, as well as any perceived political dissent.

In fact, that's what is making Hamas "particularly unpopular" in the strip - corruption, police brutality and involving ordinary Gazans in their zany schemes to try and spill Israeli blood.

It can't be the tight blockade which al-Jazeera mentions - because that simply doesn't exist. As the IDF Spokesman Twitter feed acknowledged yesterday:

181 trucks entered Gaza yesterday w/humanitarian supplies + commercial imports. Gaza also exported produce to Europe.

All paid for by infidel donations, both willing and in the form of extortionate "aid" which we have no choice about, from Israel and the European Union.

Those dastardly Zionists are also continuing with their COGAT mission to improve daily life in Gaza - at considerable expense to Israel and risk to themselves.

I must admit, even I never thought I'd see the day when al-Jazeera counted as a more reliable source than the BBC.

Onur Yildirim Jailed in Victoria

Onur Yildirim is a Turkish citizen who was working as a security guard at a Melbourne shopping centre when he raped a 16 year old shoplifter.

After being convicted two days ago, he has now been sentenced - to four and a half years in prison. He will be eligible to apply for parole in two and a half years, and as far as I am aware, the prospect of deportation was not mentioned by the judge.

Disturbingly, despite the ridiculously low sentence, it was alluded to that Yildirim may have previously abused his position to force young girls into sex:

Onur Yildirim, 26, was working at the Knox Shopping Centre supermarket in July this year, when he apprehended the victim after he saw her stealing a can of deodorant.

The County Court heard that Yildirim detained the girl for 20 minutes in the manager's office, and asked her: “What have you got to offer me?”

The victim replied: “Nothing”.

The court heard that the victim asked if Yildirim wanted money, to which he replied that he did not.

Judge Christine Thornton said Yildirim told the victim that in order to avoid trouble with the law, some girls offered him oral sex and intercourse.

The victim was surprised and asked him if that was what he wanted.

“If you want to get out of this situation, yes,” Yildirim replied.

The 26-year-old had threatened the girl, saying that if he had to fill out a report on the matter it would affect her chances of getting a loan and future career prospects.

Yildirim led the girl to a disabled toilet in the shopping centre and told her that once they had had sex she could go, Judge Thornton said.

I think we should all be asking at this point - what has this man got to offer Australia, or indeed any civilised country?

Despite his defence trying to paint him as a model citizen, it is clear he has predatory tendencies and is incredibly calculating.

“The complainant was scared and only agreed to perform acts because of intimidation and fear of the consequences of you reporting her to the police for theft,” Judge Thornton said.

In a victim impact-statement, the girl said she now had trouble sleeping and suffered continual flashbacks to the event.

Her parents described ongoing fears at their daughter potentially contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Subsequent testing found she did not.

Judge Thornton said Yildirim, born in Turkey, had been deemed by a psychiatrist not to be a paedophile.

She said he had genuine remorse and empathy for the victim.

“The purpose of this law is to protect vulnerable young people from sexual exploitation for those people in positions of power or authority,” Judge Thornton said.

“The abuse of your position of authority in circumstances (with) a vulnerable 16-year-old complainant was a serious lapse of judgement.

“Whilst your offending did not involve any grooming, the element of coercion is an aggravating factor.

“Your persistence in sexual penetration, despite the reluctance of the complainant, is a further aggravating circumstance.”

The judge said Yildirim was a low risk of reoffending and had good prospects for rehabilitation.

Oh, well that's alright then! I'm sure that will be of great comfort to the next Australian girl whose life he ruins.

The fact is, he sees Australians merely as a resource to be preyed upon - and the judge, in treating this case very lightly, has simply vindicated his view. She won't be the one who has to suffer as a result, though, will she?

"Asian" Gang Stabs Man in Yorkshire

I often complain that certain types of crime don't consistently make the national media.

This is something quite different; the Daily Telegraph have run an article on the incident in Upperthorpe - but completely trivialised it with the headline.

Here's the story:

A man has been stabbed in the neck after asking a group of teenagers to stop throwing snowballs.
South Yorkshire Police said the 19-year-old victim challenged a group of youths for throwing snowballs ''aggressively'' at people in the street and at passing cars.

A police spokesman said: ''A 19-year-old man was kicked, punched and stabbed in the neck with a sharp object, possibly a broken bottle, by a group of teenagers, after he attempted to stop them throwing snowballs aggressively at people in the street and passing cars.

''The group also assaulted his 19-year-old friend, who sustained a cut to his forehead and bruising to his face.''
Police said the second victim required stitches to his forehead and was allowed home the same day.

The group, of about 15 males, are described as Asian and mixed race, aged between 15 and 20.

So, we have an incident in which a gang of around 15 males violently attack two other males for trying to prevent them attacking and intimidating various members of the public.

In response, the gang stab one man in the neck after beating him up, and beat up his friend so badly he is left in need of stitches.

What headline does the Telegraph choose for this story?

"Snowball fight ends in stabbing."

A snowball fight implies that the people involved are taking part by choice; what we have here is actually a gang of thugs hurling snowballs at random targets, presumably to intimidate people or assert their dominance.

It's very dangerous to throw snowballs at moving vehicles, particularly if the driver is not expecting it - and yet the Telegraph almost implies that this is merely youthful high-spirits.

The two men who were attacked could easily have died or been far more seriously injured.

I think that, if this is the quality of the reporting, perhaps the media should simply stick to ignoring such incidents, as they have for the last fifteen years or so.

John Paul Onyenaychi Charged with Attempting to Kill 2 Police Officers

On Wednesday afternoon, a group of police officers and PCSOs were taking part in a routine activity in Ealing, west London.

As they were checking the tickets of passengers alighting from a bendy bus, they apparently stumbled across John Paul Onyenaychi, who was wanted for recall to prison. He'd been convicted for causing death by dangerous driving, and had breached his parole conditions after being released early.

Although he was initially stopped so the police officers could check that he'd paid his fare (which, of course, he had not), one of the officers recognised him and initiated a radio check, which confirmed that Onyenaychi was a wanted man.

He decided that he didn't want to return to prison, however, and pulled out a stanley knife:

Christmas shoppers screamed in horror as the knifeman slashed the throat of one officer before attacking a police community support officer – plunging a knife into his arms and hands as he went to the aid of his colleague.

He attempted to stab a second community support officer before he was subdued.

The constable who had his throat slashed is apparently stable after surgery, but his life was only saved because a surgeon was travelling on a passing bus and managed to keep him alive until he got to hospital.

Today Onyenaychi has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, and attempting to commit grievous bodily harm against the second PCSO.

What interested me most was the reaction of Boris Johnson, Mayor of London:

Mayor of London Boris Johnson said he was shocked by what had happened, adding: ‘There is no place for this in London.’

But unfortunately there is, isn't there Boris?

The reason such large groups of police officers were active like this in the first place is because the area has seen a surge in gang activity; gangs robbing people on buses, in the streets, using casual violence.

Casual violence against members of the public will eventually translate into casual violence against the police - particularly if the consequences are seen as negligible.

This Onyenaychi individual has already got away with killing one person, so why would he think twice about killing more?

Anyone capable of doing something like this belongs behind bars, preferrably for good. How many other such people are still roaming the streets? The Daily Mail article gives us some clue:

Ministry of Justice figures show 914 criminals are on the run even though they have committed new crimes or breached the terms of their release. The total includes 22 recalled between 1984 and 1999. Those wrongly on the streets include 18 murderers, five paedophiles and 17 convicted of carrying guns.

Police should find 75 per cent of recalled prisoners classified as high risk ‘emergency’ cases within 74 hours and three quarters of standard recalls should be completed within six days.

But since 2007 nearly 10,000 criminals were not back in jail within the target time.

If the authorities don't take sanctions against criminals seriously, why should the criminals?

Onyenaychi continued to show his contempt for the justice system whilst in court:

A man charged with attempting to murder two police officers has been remanded in custody after swearing at the judge.

District Judge Margot Coleman ordered John Paul Onyenaychi, 30, of Wise Road in east London, back to the cells after his outburst.

The injured officers have been named as PC Paul Madden, 23, and PCSO Piotr Dolata, 27.

The Daily Mail has more on what Onyenaychi got up to in court today. Whilst in the dock, surrounded by ten police officers, he treated the court to the following:

Shouting at District Judge Margot Coleman when asked for his full name, he said: 'My name’s ‘go **** yourself’ and where the **** is my solicitor?'

When his solicitor Aneurin Brewer appeared in court, he continued: 'You’re not my ******* solicitor. You’re not representing me.'

The hearing continued in Onyenaychi's absence after District Judge Coleman ordered he be taken back to the cell, before telling Mr Brewer, 'He was being extremely abusive and I’m not prepared to tolerate that behaviour in my courtroom.'

Whilst I fully agree with her decision, she's rather lucky she gets a choice in the matter, unlike some.

Some people have to deal with the likes of Onyenaychi daily due to the consistent refusal of the courts to actually attempt to punish criminals.

Hate Crime Is "Under-reported"

Hate crime figures for England, Wales and Northern Ireland have been published for the first time.

In 2009 a total of 52,028 crimes were recorded in which the offence was motivated by prejudice.

Victims were targeted because of race, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability or transgender issues.

Chief Constable Stephen Otter of police chiefs' body Acpo said: "By publishing this data... we hope to encourage victims and witnesses to come forward."

Interesting. Perhaps I can be of assistance - everyday I am emailed stories and news tips that don't make the national media, but seem to me to fit quite neatly into the category of "hate crime."

For example:

A LOUT who glassed a man in a Rawtenstall pub and left him with facial injuries has been jailed for 12 months - and banned from the premises for two years.

Burnley Crown Court heard how binge drinker Mohammed Miah, 26, struck victim Ian Parkinson, who he did not know, as he was on the dance floor of the Queen's Arms, with friends, around midnight.

Mr Parkinson suffered lacerations on his eyelid and cheek. He had no permanent damage to the eye itself but was left scarred.

After the unprovoked assault, days before last Christmas, the victim had trouble sleeping. He was very concerned about the scar and was worried about going out in town.

Miah, who has 13 previous convictions, was earlier jailed for two years for affray and was on bail for that offence, committed in the same pub, when he injured Mr Parkinson.

Yes, seems to be a lot of it about. Totally without motive, of course.

Let's try:

On Thursday 2 December between 5.35pm and 5.50pm in High Road, the victim, a 16 year-old boy, was attacked by two black males who punched him and stabbed him several times in the chest.

It is believed that the victim had been trying to run away from the suspects when they attacked him outside Park Vue dental practice, on the opposite side of the road to Wood Green bus garage in High Road, North London.

The incident spilled onto the southbound lane of High Road, causing traffic to swerve.

London Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to the North Middlesex Hospital where he was treated for puncture wounds to his chest and discharged the following day.

The suspects are described as being two black males, believed to be aged around 17 years and dressed in dark clothing.

Completely without motive too, I'm sure.

You see, what I think is the problem isn't "hate crime" - a purely subjective and politically motivated term; it's the fact that violent crime simply isn't taken very seriously anymore because it has become so common.

That goes for crime in general; even in the case of their precious "hate crime" all the police really seem to care about is massaging the statistics:

Mr Otter, Acpo's lead for equality, diversity and human rights, said: "Hate crimes cause a great deal of harm among victims and communities.

"Publication of the data underlines the commitment of the police service to tackle hate crime, build confidence and encourage victims to come forward so that under-reporting is reduced."

You see? All that matters is that under-reporting is reduced. Not justice for the victims, not removing the criminals from society and punishing them.

I also find it genuinely frightening that a senior police officer can't see that all crime causes a great deal of harm to victims and communities.

We're talking about real people and real suffering here, not abstract concepts and social experiments.

U.S. Border Patrol Agent Killed in Arizona

The violence and lawlessness which plagues Mexico continues to spread into the southern United States, brought by the illegal immigrants who are invading the region.

On Tuesday night, U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian A. Terry, 40, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a former policeman, was shot dead by an armed gang in Santa Cruz county, AZ:

Authorities combed the rugged terrain west of Rio Rico on Wednesday, searching for a fugitive suspect in the deadly shooting of a Border Patrol agent near Rio Rico.

Four suspects were detained immediately after Agent Brian A. Terry, 40, was shot late Tuesday in the Peck Canyon area. But a fifth eluded capture and was last seen heading south on foot in blue pants and a blue-and-white-striped shirt.

Police radio chatter early Wednesday afternoon noted a possible sighting of the suspect on the west slope of Atascosa Peak. Shortly after the radio report, the Nogales International witnessed a Department of Homeland Security Blackhawk helicopter circling over the peak, approximately 15 miles northwest of Nogales.

Sheriff Antonio Estrada said his office first received a call for assistance shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday night.

“Border Patrol called our dispatch, reporting shots fired and requesting emergency medical services to meet with them at Peck Canyon and Circulo Sombrero,” Estrada said.

The shooting happened near Forest Service Road 4197, he said.

Terry was airlifted to a Tucson hospital, where he was pronounced dead early Wednesday.

Representatives of the Border Patrol agents’ union said Terry and three other agents were waiting for suspected border bandits when the shooting began. No other agents were injured, but one of the suspected bandits was reportedly wounded.

Apparently Agent Terry was a member of BORTAC, the Border Patrol's version of the SWAT team, specialising in patrolling the most dangerous, violent and bandit-ridden sections of the border:

BORTAC units are SWAT-type teams that respond to some of the Border Patrol’s most dangerous situations, Judd said.

“They specialize in activity such as what they encountered last night, that’s what they’re there for,” he told the NI. “Any time an agent encounters a known suspect that has weapons, we call BORTAC.”

The area in and around Peck Canyon has been plagued in recent years by border bandits, with Border Patrol agents, hunters, rancher and illegal immigrants regularly reporting encounters – sometimes violent – with armed men. It’s no coincidence that Terry was working in the area, Judd said.

Agent Terry died a hero, defending his country - which is more than the vast majority of American politicians, Democrat or Republican, will do. They're too busy condemning anyone who dares point out their consistent policy failures in securing the United States' southern border, and their lack of actual will to do so at all.

Here's Rick Oltman in the San Francisco Examiner, explaining how the government has effectively abandoned the area:

But one thing we can say for certain is that this area has been abandoned by the U.S. Government to the Mexican cartels.

Almost exactly 12 months ago, December 27, 2009, a Border Patrol agent was shot in the same area. I have been told that after that shooting the BP supervisors declared the area “too dangerous to patrol” and only BORTAC, the Border Patrol's SWAT team, goes into the area. Terry was a Marine; of course he joined BORTAC.

Tactically, the Border Patrol supervisors abandoned the area.

Strategically, that abandonment created a corridor that was exploited by smuggling cartels.

Watch the game camera video on the left that has been provided by the Concerned Citizens and SBI. The images are from early 2010 from an area 10 miles North of where Agent Terry was killed.

Some U.S. Border Patrol agents in that sector spent their own money purchasing game cameras and placed them in the area west of Rio Rico and have given pictures of the smugglers to their supervisors who have been aware of the heavily armed drug traffickers for months.

These agents’ personal initiative has provided information about, at least, two groups of criminals operating in the area who are ripping off drug mules, robbing illegal aliens and raping the women.

The result of this excellent Intel? The agents were told by supervisors to pick up the cameras and not to be circulating any more pictures of the illegal traffic. After all, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has declared the area safe.

It seems that if the U.S. government have their way, the sacrifices of brave men like Agent Terry, defending their country from violent, merciless criminals and the chaotic lawlessness of a Third World country, will be in vain.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim Wins Appeal to Remain in Britain

I've written previously about the case of Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, a thuggish "asylum seeker" from northern Iraq who left a twelve year old girl to die after running her over:

Weeks before he killed Amy Houston, Ibrahim was banned from driving for 9 months for driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and driving without a licence - despite the fact he has never held a driving licence in his life.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim (above right), an Iraqi Kurd, hit her more than five years ago whilst she was playing outside her home, and left her dying and trapped under the front wheels of his Rover whilst he ran away.

He received four months in prison - for driving whilst disqualified and failing to stop after an accident. The maximum sentence the Magistrates could have imposed was 6 months - but they had to give him some credit for his early guilty plea.

After getting out, Ibrahim met and married a British woman, who had two children. He'd just won life's lottery - after exhaustive attempts to deport him and appeal after appeal paid for by us, immigration judges have ruled today that he can remain in Britain:

But two senior immigration judges have now ruled he can remain in the UK.

The judges agreed with Ibrahim's legal team's case that his human rights would be impinged if he was sent back to Iraq.

Ah yes, human rights. You see, Ibrahim has a "right to a family life." Not like Amy's poor father, the man who had to turn off her life support machine, who has had his stolen from him forever by a callous chancer who should never have been here in the first place:

Her father Paul Houston, from Darwen, told judges last month they had the power to bring his "seven years of hell to an end" by sending Ibrahim to Iraq.

An angry Mr Houston called the decision ridiculous and said: "What are the judges saying here? They are saying it doesn't matter what you do when you come here, who you kill, what laws you break, as long as you have a child here you can stay?
"He's not a life-saving surgeon or a Nobel prize winner. He was a criminal before, a criminal now and he will continue being a criminal."

Unfortunately that is indeed what they're saying, Mr Houston. In fact, sometimes I think the lower the scumbag, the better they like him.

Only he has rights, not us, and to suggest he might actually have to be a worthwhile human being and contribute something to gain the privilege of residing here is probably tantamount to racism.

So, despite the fact that Ibrahim has a string of criminal convictions and there's not even any evidence he still lives with the fool who married him and his two children, we're stuck with him:

Lawyers for the Border Agency asked for Ibrahim to be deported on the grounds that the judge who originally allowed him leave to remain on the basis of his right to a family life did so incorrectly. Although he now has two children, there was little evidence he was living at the same address and so could not claim a right to family life, it was argued.
But Senior Immigration Judges Lane and Taylor, in a reserved judgment now made public, rejected the appeal. They said the original decision should stand but added that the outcome might well have been different if the process to remove Ibrahim had begun before he had children.

I'm sure that's of great comfort to Mr Houston - and the rest of us condemned to fund Ibrahim's criminal, parasitic lifestyle for as long as he chooses.

Let's just hope those senior immigration judges don't end up with anyone else on their consciences.

Iranian Jailed for Rape in Salzburg

An Iranian rapist has been jailed for a mere 18 months for attacking a teenager who was making her way home in Salzburg:

An Iranian has been found guilty of raping a young woman on her way home.

The 33-year-old man admitted the sex attack on the 19-year-old in Kaprun, Salzburg, one night last May. The defendant, however, denied having raped a 16-year-old girl in Zell am See in July.

A court in Salzburg sentenced the kitchen worker to 18 months in prison today (Weds).

The accused accepted the sentence. The verdict is, however, not yet legally binding as prosecutors decided to appeal it for being too low considering that the man could have faced up to 10 years in jail.

Let's hope they win their appeal.

I always find it upsetting when the authorities, having failed the victim already by letting such a dangerous individual roam the country at will, further insult them by handing down such a paltry sentence.

Hashim Thaci Implicated in Organ Harvesting from Serb Prisoners

Back in April 2009 I first wrote about allegations of KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) atrocities committed against Serbian prisoners and civilians during the Kosovo War.

It is now being widely reported that the trail leads right to the very top of the Kosovan government:

He was all smiles a few months ago as he honoured Tony Blair for helping to liberate his country.

But yesterday Kosovo’s prime minister was sensationally named as the boss of a brutal mafia network that allegedly specialised in butchering enemies for their kidneys.

He strongly denies the allegations.

In a bombshell report Hashim Thaci was described as ‘the most dangerous’ of organised crime leaders who engaged in assassinations, beatings, drug smuggling and a weapons racket.

Most macabre are testimonies alleging how his mafia network harvested human organs from kidnapped prisoners, who pleaded not to be ‘chopped into pieces’ before they were shot dead by henchmen.

Their kidneys and other organs were removed and sold in a deal with an Albanian clinic.

The claims about the country’s premier come as a slap in the face to those who supported Britain’s efforts to free Kosovo and help its rebel leaders to power.

Actually, it was well known even at the time that the KLA was a brutal criminal racket and terrorist group.

As its leader, it is only logical that Thaci would be involved.

Of course, this information was hushed up at the time because it didn't fit the "Serbs are evil" and "Albanians who have colonised and wrested control of Kosovo are angels" narrative.

Remind me again - what exactly did we "free" Kosovo from?

It was a province of Serbia. It's now run by gangsters and wishes to be absorbed into the far more violent, corrupt and backward state of Albania.

If the US government decided to bomb London until we gave up control of Yorkshire to a rebel government backed by Pakistan, would the Daily Mail describe that as "liberating" or "freeing" Yorkshire?

The article continues:

Dick Marty, the Swiss senator who wrote the report, said he felt ‘moral outrage’ as he allegedly discovered how Thaci’s ‘Drenica Group’, a faction of the KLA, was implicated in harvesting human organs.

He claimed captives were held in a secret network of six detention facilities in lawless northern Albania, near its border with Kosovo. In one case, a ‘handful’ of men were held in a farmhouse in the town of Fushe-Kruje.

The report states: ‘As and when the transplant surgeons were confirmed to be in position and ready to operate, the captives were brought out of the “safe house” individually, summarily executed by a KLA gunman, and their corpses transported to the operating clinic.’

‘At least some of these captives became aware of the fate that awaited them. Some are said to have pleaded with their captors to be spared the fate of being “chopped into pieces”.’

Some victims were allowed to live, minus their robbed organs.

Well, infidels are expendable, aren't they? If only all the fearless, truth-seeking Western journalists who descended on the area at the time, desperate for the tiniest hint of dirt on the Serbs, had known.

The good news is that "lawless" Albania has just been given £320 million by the EU, out of an "accession fund" to which Britain contributed about £1.1 billion. This, despite the fact that no negotiations to admit Albania are currently being held, and it is widely acknowledged the money will simply be abused.

The EU, in its eternal and benevolent wisdom, has also relaxed visa rules for Albanians and Kosovans.

Apparently the US government's "make America look like the world" policy is continuing to enjoy a great deal of success.

A Dulles shuttle driver left a trail of destruction in his wake on Monday morning after deliberately crashing into several other vehicles:

The driver of a speeding SuperShuttle van left a trail of damaged vehicles as he fled at least six hit-and-run crashes along Interstate 66 and the Dulles Access Road on Monday morning, police said.

Virginia State Police, Arlington County police and Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police were trying to determine what led to the series of crashes from Arlington to Dulles International Airport about 9:30 a.m.

The driver, whom police identified as Muhammad Teshale, 25, of Alexandria, was arrested outside the airport's main terminal after authorities found the damaged blue van. Teshale was charged with one count of hit and run in Fairfax County. Additional charges were pending.

Law enforcement officials close to the investigation said that the driver told police that he "did it to be famous." The man drove the shuttle at 90 to 95 mph at times on roads that have speed limits of 55 mph, officials said.

Hmm. A Muslim who goes on a potentially deadly spree of violence in order to be "famous" - clearly just an ordinary, run of the mill traffic incident.

The incident was far from trivial - the report suggests someone could easily have been killed:

Corinne Geller, a state police spokeswoman, said that a blue SuperShuttle vehicle was heading west when it twice sideswiped the passenger side of a Dodge Charger. The shuttle then rear-ended a Chrysler Pacifica and a taxi, sending both vehicles off the highway.

The driver of the Pacifica, a 33-year-old Centreville woman, and her year-old daughter were taken to Arlington Hospital with minor injuries.

Four minutes later, state police learned of a fourth crash in the westbound lanes of I-66 at the Dulles Connector Road. The SuperShuttle rear-ended a 2006 Mercedes C240, authorities said.

The trail continued toward Dulles, police said. Courtney Mickalonis, a spokeswoman for the airports authority, said two drivers on the way to the airport reported that their vehicles had been struck.

"He was going at a high rate of speed," Geller said. "But there is no indication of motive."

Nope, I can't possibly think of a motive either. I'm sure the recent call by al-Qaeda to use lorries and vehicles as weapons is just a huge coincidence.

So far, so good - but the Buffalo News offers a further fascinating insight into America's continued cultural enrichment:

A refugee from Somalia was accused of trying to sell her 16-year-old daughter into marriage against her will.
Social Services took another Somali couple's six children because the father belt-whipped his 8-year-old son and tied him up for misbehaving in school.
A Yemeni husband beat his wife and threw her down the stairs for talking back to him in front of the family.
"How else can I teach her how to behave?" the bewildered man asked in court.
These and other cases like them are raising the concerns of judges, lawyers and human services providers in Buffalo.

They're raising my concerns too, not to mention my blood pressure. But what could the solution be?

With more than 800 new refugees resettling in the Buffalo area each year, and nearly 1,500 expected next year, the question of how to work with non-native residents struggling with family violence has become a growing challenge for those in the court system.
The problem is serious enough that a special community and courts collaborative was formed 10 months ago to improve services to this newer population. The group recently hosted a daylong workshop in Buffalo for Family Court judges, lawyers and social service workers.

Of course. I was going to choose "stop importing unassimilable people from the most primitive, backward hellholes on the planet," but clearly the answer is to continue importing them - just use taxpayers' cash to train civil servants and court officials in their special cultural nuances.

The article notes, without any apparent irony:

In the immigrants' native countries, these incidents would be considered common social and cultural practices. But in their new home, they are classified as abuse and felony assault.

Quite. But don't forget - all people and cultures are absolutely equal and interchangeable!

Whilst America continues down this long path to national suicide, many have far more pessing matters than immigrant crime sprees and domestic abuse; the Society for Professional Journalists' ominously named "Diversity Committee" has launched a campaign against certain terminology which might offend illegal immigrants:

The Society for Professional Journalists (SPJ)’s Diversity Committee has announced that it will be launching a year-long campaign to educate journalists about the hurtfulness of phrases like “illegal immigrant,” which is the term currently preferred by the influential AP Stylebook.

The label “remains offensive to Latinos, and especially Mexicans, and to the fundamentals of American jurisprudence,” Leo E. Laurence, a member of the SPJ Diversity Committee and the editor the San Diego News Service.

Satire is dead in the West - you simply couldn't make it up.

Britain's New "Friendly" Immigration Rules

The children of failed asylum seekers awaiting deportation from the United Kingdom will no longer be detained with their parents:

Parents awaiting forced deportation would still be held in secure houses, but their children would be assigned minders so they can move around freely.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said it would mean the UK had one of the "most child-friendly" immigration systems in the world.

Fantastic! Britain has so much money right now it simply can't spend it fast enough, it seems. Clearly we have nothing better to do than employ "minders" for the children of illegal immigrants. Who needs an immigration policy that's taxpayer-friendly when it can be "child-friendly"?

Mr Clegg said the decision to no longer detain children in the immigration system "spoke for itself" and marked a "big cultural shift".

"The change prioritises doing the right thing over looking and sounding tough," he said. "Reforms which will give the UK one of the most child-friendly immigration systems in the developed world."

I agree, it does speak for itself; Clegg's a Liberal Democrat and probably sees all border controls as some sort of symbol of fascist racism.

Whilst he and I would probably differ on what "doing the right thing" means here, at least he doesn't want to sound tough on an issue he has no intention of being tough on, and he deserves some credit for that.

I would point out, however, that the purpose of an immigration system is to process and remove those who have no right to be here and are absuing our hospitality - not be "friendly" to anyone. If said system was fit for purpose, this detention simply wouldn't be an issue - because those denied would be removed immediately.

BBC home affairs correspondent Tom Symonds says the government hopes a softer approach will encourage asylum seekers not to fight their deportation.

But it is understood the change may lengthen the process and have an impact on the numbers deported.

Ah, but of course. I think the article forgot to mention the impact it will probably have on the cost of the whole operation, but never mind.

Martin Narey, chief executive of Barnardo's, told the BBC that detaining children in Yarl's Wood was "very, very damaging", but "not because staff there are monsters or because it's run badly".

"Locking away children who haven't done anything wrong at all - and some of these are very, very young children indeed - putting them in essentially a prison environment with barbed wire, bars and locks is not something we should do."

Asked whether more families would abscond as a result of the relaxation, he said: "I'm not at all convinced there will be more, but if there were a few more it would be a good price to pay.

"It's not just about families. This is a significant day for the UK's reputation as a country that will treat people with compassion."

But is it a price you will personally be paying, Mr Narey? I somehow doubt it.

As for the UK's reputation - it's simply another piece of evidence that Britain is a country of mugs, run by mugs, as far as most of the illegals are concerned. They'll probably encourage their children to abscond in order to drag out an already tortured process yet further.

Why is it that the UK is required to show compassion to everyone else on earth - except its own long-suffering taxpayers?

Telling Turkey Where to Go

First, there was the inspirational speech given by Austrian MP Evald Stadler in the Austrian parliament.

Mr Stadler was responding to criticism levied at Austria's integration policies by the Turkish ambassador - and it really is a joy to watch. It's a rare sight to witness a European politician telling the unadulterated truth without fear.

Now we have a speech given by Israeli Knesset member Danny Danon, in response to the Turkish Prime Minister's demand for an apology over the Mavi Marmara incident:

Regarding: The request for an apology to the government of Turkey for the events aboard the Mavi Marmara of the Gaza flotilla.

I would like to apologize to you in the name of the entire state of Israel for the fact that the state of Israel did not take sufficient care to check the terrorist ship Marmara before it left Turkey. That would have prevented the ship from being armed with guns and other weapons, and from transporting terrorist activists under the patronage of the Turkish government.

Because of our excellent relationship, and your great respect for the state of Israel and the Zionist enterprise, I must apologize for the fact that the naval commandos who, when they reached the ship, were greeted by armed terrorist resistance that aimed to murder them did not immediately defend themselves with gunfire, and instead acted with restraint toward the pretend “peace activists” who sought to kill them.

Apologies for the fact that the commandos acted carefully, taking into account the presence of civilians on the ship, and killed only nine terrorists. If the state authorities had known that there were terrorists on the ship, the order would have been given to kill any person endangering our troops.

With your permission, one more apology is necessary, for Israel’s decision to release the dangerous terror supporters who were on the ship and not put them on trial for attempted murder, and even to pay for their tickets home.

David Cameron on Islamic Extremism

British Prime Minister David "Call Me Dave" Cameron has acknowledged Britain's role in the suicide bombing perpetrated in Stockholm over the weekend, and is determined we cannot be complacent:

"Whether it's making sure that imams coming over to this country can speak English properly, whether it's making sure we deradicalise our universities, I think we do have to take a range of further steps and I'm going to be working hard to make sure that we do this," Cameron said.

"Yes, we have got to have the policing in place, yes we've got to make sure we invest in our intelligence services, yes we've got to cooperate with other countries. But we've also got to ask why it is that so many young men in our own country get radicalised in this completely unacceptable way," he added.

Quite. And if we have to build a police state to do all this - well, that's just an added bonus, right? Diversity must be enforced at all costs, that's the main thing.

If Dave really wants to help stop something like this happening again, I have two places where he can begin - and oddly, "only importing English-speaking imams" isn't at the top of my list.

1) As part of his promised crackdown on immigration (let's just hope it wasn't a "cast iron" promise), perhaps he might look at the student visa system and the many who abuse it to stay here illegally?

This case demonstrates what can happen when we import "students" from Pakistan:

A terror suspect living in Manchester was part of an al-Qaeda plot to launch co-ordinated international bombings, US Justice Department lawyers have said.

The lawyers are seeking to extradite Abid Naseer to the US to stand trial over alleged plots to plant bombs in Manchester, New York and Norway.

Mr Naseer carried out reconnaisance and bought material for bombs, David Perry QC told Westminster Magistrates' Court.

The 24-year-old, who came from Pakistan on a student visa, denies the charges.

2) The same story illustrates how the British government is then unable to get rid of them, due to the ridiculous and unnecessary European Human Rights Act:

"The defendant and his co-conspirators based in the UK conducted reconnaissance at potential target locations and transported reconnaissance photographs back and forth to Pakistan," said Mr Perry.

Mr Naseer had also "purchased ingredients and components necessary for the preparation of explosive devices and maintained frequent contact with the al-Qaeda leadership", the court heard.

Mr Perry said the alleged plot was a "wide, international conspiracy conceived by al-Qaeda", for which Mr Naseer was the organisation's UK "point of contact".

Mr Naseer was among a group of 10 Pakistanis arrested in April 2009 on suspicion of plotting a terror attack in the UK but nobody was charged.

Following his arrest, the Home Office failed in a bid to deport Mr Naseer to Pakistan because a judge ruled his safety could not be guaranteed if he returned to Pakistan.

Got that Dave?

1) Stop importing large numbers of unassimilable Muslims, particularly young males.

2) Stop aiding and abetting a system which makes it impossible to protect ourselves from genuine threats and choose who has the privilege of living off of us whilst posturing.

I'm guessing he's not looking to actually do anything, however, so the see-no-evil, hear-no-evil status quo will be maintained.

Turkish Security Guard Raped & Degraded Australian Teenager

A very disturbing story of an individual who decided to abuse his position of power in order to abuse a young girl emerges from Melbourne:

A Coles security guard who pressured a young shoplifter into having sex with him said it was the most shameful act he had ever committed on another person, the County Court has heard.

Turkish national Onur Yildirim, 26, has pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual penetration of a 16-year-old child who was under his care, supervision and authority.

The court was told that on July 11, Yildirim was working at Coles in Knox City in Melbourne's east when he saw the girl take a bottle of body spray from the store without paying.

He took her to the manager's office and told her that if he reported her to police it could ruin her life, but if she offered him sex he would not report her.

The girl told the court in an impact statement that by agreeing to his demands "I got myself out of that situation but then I got myself into a worse one".

CCTV footage of the incident shows Yildirim leading the girl to a disabled toilet in the shopping centre where they stayed for nine minutes while Yildirim penetrated her.

Yet again we see the familiar pattern; an immigrant from an alien country abusing the hospitality of Australians by using his position to abuse a vulnerable member of their society.

Yildirim's counsel Peter Chadwick, SC, said his client did not have a criminal past and had come to Australia looking for work with his electronics degree.

He described Yildirim's action as a lapse of judgment which had "catapulted him from a law-abiding, upright, fine member of the community to a prisoner".

In his statement to the court, Yildirim said he was very remorseful and left work early that day because he realised the enormity of what he had done and how shameful he felt.

Raping and degrading a young girl just because you can is not a "lapse of judgment" - that is an insulting statement which implies anyone is capable of such a thing, should they feel they can get away with it.

I don't believe this is true. I also don't believe that the "enormity" of committing such a crime would only dawn on one after it had been committed. Yildirim took a calculated risk, and he must have known the potential consequences before he acted - but he acted anyway because he thought the circumstances gave him enough power over his victim to get away with it.

Mr Chadwick said that if he was sentenced to more than one year's jail he risked being deported to Turkey and away from his current partner.

If? There's an element of doubt? This was a very serious crime, which this young girl will doubtless always be affected by in some way.

Also, wasn't the onus really on Yildirim to consider the potential effect on his life and that of his "partner" before he raped a schoolgirl? I don't really see any reason to feel sorry for him.

Prosecutor Michelle Zammit said there had been a level of aggravated degradation involved with the girl forced to lie on the toilet floor and the sex carried out without a condom.

She said the girl had told him three times during the sexual assault that she didn't want to go ahead with it but he continued.

"That makes it more than just a lapse of concentration or a foolish slip," she said.

She told Judge Christine Thornton that a suitable penalty for the crime was in the six to eight year range.

I would have thought that went without saying; telling an inappropriate joke is a "foolish slip" - I think raping a young teenager falls into a slightly different category for most people.

I would personally say a "suitable penalty" was in the 25 year + range; they're talking about a calculating rapist, a grown man who targetted a young girl he had power over, as if he's a naughty schoolboy who couldn't possibly have realised what he was doing was wrong.

He simply thought he could get away with it, that's the bottom line. When will we wake up and protect our most vulnerable, our children, from these predators?

Israel - Democracy, Super Models & Mossad Controlled Sharks

On Sunday Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of Israel's Islamic Movement, was released from prison after serving a five month sentence for assaulting and spitting at a police officer:

Speaking to supporters waiting outside the prison, Salah said, “In this welcoming I see confirmation of our eternal victory over occupied Jerusalem and the Aksa Mosque.”

The Islamic leader added, “I want to stress that this celebration today is only one celebration on the road to the big celebration, which is the expulsion of the Israeli occupation from Jerusalem and the Aksa Mosque.

“We are not afraid of prison in the cause of Jerusalem and al-Aksa. We will continue to cling to every piece of earth in Jerusalem and to every Jerusalem stone.”

The Islamic leader was found guilty of assaulting and spitting on a police officer who was providing security at a demonstration sponsored by Salah in 2007.

How interesting. It turns out that Israel, like most Western countries, permits opposing viewpoints to the degree that marches calling for its destruction, or at best subversion, are allowed to take place.

For all those who denounce Israel as an evil, racist, Nazi-like entity with no right to exist, can you imagine what would happen to protesters espousing equivalent pro-Israel views in Gaza? Or even supposedly friendly Arab countries such as Jordan?

I genuinely can't imagine the police providing security for them and tolerating being assaulted for their trouble, whatever else might happen.

In other news, apparently the lovely Bar Refaeli is in trouble for comments she made after a visit to Egypt:

Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has managed to get in trouble with the Egyptians. Refaeli visited Egypt about two weeks ago with her boyfriend, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Asked by Israeli reporters whether she would ever go back there, she replied that "Egypt is a very primitive place".

I imagine she is in trouble - most Muslims don't seem to appreciate any compulsion to tell the truth, it has to be said. Look at the reaction of the Islamic world to Fitna.

She's right though, that's what counts. My friends went on honeymoon there and recounted how in public places tourists are constantly being harassed for money, whilst many Western women have to put up with improper attention and sexual comments. My friend was made a serious offer of several camels for his new wife on two occasions - but still, all cultures are equal, right?

The Egyptian authorities responded with their characteristic restraint and good humour to Refaeli's remarks:

On Monday, Egyptian newspaper al-Dustur published a harsh editorial against Refaeli, claiming that her remarks were part of an Israeli attack on tourism to Egypt. The article was titled: "An Israeli plan to harm Egyptian tourism through a supermodel."
"It's part of Israel's constant efforts to attack tourism in Sinai in a bid to make the tourists move from the Egyptian beaches to the Israeli beaches. The Israeli press has taken advantage of the shark attacks on European tourists off the Sharm coast in order to convey in different languages the fear of the tourists visiting Egypt," the article claimed.

In the same context, another Egyptian paper presented a conspiracy theory that the Israeli secret service Mossad released the killer shark near Sharm el-Sheikh.

Is there anything those men from Mossad won't do in their dastardly desire to undermine the glories of the Arab world?

Meanwhile, the BBC's allegedly incarcerated friends in Hamas were busy again over the weekend, seriously wounding an IDF soldier and firing a rocket into the Negev; two of them were sent to meet Allah for their trouble.

I personally feel this small nation, surrounded by hostility and aggression on all sides, daily shows great restraint, as these stories illustrate.

Norway's Response to the Stockholm Bombing

Yesterday I reported that, in accordance with Lawrence Auster's "Non-Islam Theory of Islamic Extremism," Saturday's suicide bombing in Stockholm was the fault of Britain and the British university where the Jihadi studied.

That's right; not Islam, not the Koran, not the teachings and example of the prophet Mohammed, not Sweden's mad immigration policies and insistence that everyone, everywhere is exactly the same - but Britain.

I was interested to note that the response of the Norwegian government followed a similar vein - i.e. a complete and utter refusal to stare objective reality in the face:

Knut Storberget [Norwegian Justice Minister] told newspaper Dagsavisen, for example, that Norway’s special police intelligence unit PST has received a 50 percent boost in funding and a 30 percent boost in staffing for anti-terrorism operations. “And we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Swedish colleagues on this,” he told reporters on Sunday.

Storberget also used the suicide bombing on a busy shopping street in downtown Stockholm, which killed the bomber but no others, as another reason why the Parliament should go along with an EU directive that would require storage of telecommunications records, to aid police in terrorism investigations.

But of course. The solution isn't a national debate about Muslim immigration, about whether mass immigration, and if so which kinds, are desirable for Sweden or Norway - no.

The solution is not spend more money on domestic anti-terror police, give the EU draconian powers, and apparently keep importing hostile aliens and throwing money at them as before.

The article continues:

There’s little doubt the bombing, the first of its kind in Scandinavia, has shaken Norwegian officials and disclosed flaws in Sweden’s own anti-terrorism operations. Questions were flying over how the perpetrator, a young Iraqi man living in Sweden who had publicly revealed increasing radicalism, had evaded police attention.

As well it might. If such things keep happening, ordinary people are going to put two and two together - there were no suicide bombings in Scandinavia before mass immigration from the Islamic world. When they do, they're going to place the blame squarely on the government.

It's a shame other questions aren't being asked about his presence in Sweden (and 400,000 or so unassimilable, alien others potentially like him) in the first place, but you can't expect miracles; no, clearly it is the job of the Swedish police to know when every young Muslim male tires of beer and blondes and becomes interested in Jihad and slaughtering infidels instead.

The best is yet to come:

Norway’s ambassador to Sweden, veteran diplomat Anna K Lund, said Sweden was now “at a crossroads” and that the bombing was viewed as “very dramatic.” Lund told newspaper Aftenposten, however, that there are differences between Swedish and Norwegian society and Sweden has experienced many more dramatic incidents than Norway.

Brynjar Lia, a researcher for the defense ministry, noted that Norwegian police have invested heavily in preventative measures, including constant dialogue with Islamic groups in Norway and with individuals. He also noted that Sweden is twice Norway’s size in terms of population, suggesting that extremists can have more room to operate.

Very dramatic, indeed. I would add that, unlike certain other dramatic incidents, this one could have easily been prevented - and not by recording everyone's phone calls.

But, as long as Norway continues its dialogue with its Muslim immigrants (I imagine that actually means making more and more apparently minor concessions in order to avoid violence), everything should be absolutely fine.

I mean, anyone who would consider doing such a thing must be completely rational and open to reason!

Just make a few points about how generous, tolerant and open Norway is, how it doesn't deserve to be attacked and everything should just work out.

How unlike Sweden it is in it's regard to prostrate itself to make others happy. Also, let's not forget that most of these immigrants are fully integrated and love having girlfriends and drinking, so they'll probably never have a problem with them anyway.

Right?

"Asylum Seekers" Protest in Malta

A truly extraordinary article appeared in yesterday's Times of Malta:

Around 70 Sudanese migrants living in Malta turned up at the offices of the UN Refugee Agency this morning to protest against the slow process of resettlement to other EU countries.

Farouk Bebekir, 28, said the government seemed to prefer resettling other East Africans to keep Sudanese in Malta because they are hard-working, adaptable and can communicate in Maltese.

“But there is no future here,” he said, pointing out that permanent work was difficult to find and bills were constantly increasing.

“We have been here six years and we don’t get any help. Others have gone to Europe to become doctors and we are still here, struggling to pay water and electricity bills.”

Good lord - lucky Malta - but poor old everyone else, missing out on the this particular chunk of enrichment. Apparently, every semi-literate Third World chancer who gets out of Malta goes on to become a doctor!

They must have quite an education system there. Obviously, an alternative view is that it is beneath contempt for any self-respecting newspaper to repeat this utter propagandistic drivel verbatim.

I must say I have some sympathy for Farouk; just look at what he's missing out on:

He added that refugees who are resettled to other EU countries can get a passport to travel and can even bring over their families to live with them and build a future together. But in Malta, they cannot travel freely and have not seen their family members in six years.

“If the government wants to keep us here, the conditions must improve. We need to be given help to find good work and job training. We need to get benefits Maltese employees get and we need to be able to travel.”

He added that if they could not be resettled and the situation in Malta did not improve, they would probably prefer to go back to Darfur and die there.

“At least we will die in our country with our friends and family not here alone, with nothing.”

As you can see, the benefits - for the immigrants - are innumerable. I'm not quite so sure what the rest of us are getting out of it, but then that's hardly new.

I particularly enjoyed the "if the government wants to keep us here..." line - I was rather under the impression that they all just turned up illegally and the government and people of Malta didn't have too much say in the matter. However the likes of Farouk may like to delude himself, I highly doubt engraved invitations were sent out.

Obviously, it would never have occurred to Farouk and the countless others that perhaps they should have stayed and strived to improve their own country; no, far better to travel to someone else's and then throw petulant fits because you haven't been elevated to the status you think you deserve or offered a free ride to an even more lucrative destination.

The insanity continues, however:

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the UNHCR, Fabrizio Ellul, explained that the process for resettlement took long but the agency did not discriminate between nationals of different countries.

“Twenty per cent of Sudanese have been resettled,” he said, adding that this was not a low figure compared to other nationalities.

He stressed, however, that resettlement was not a right and if countries offered to take migrants from Malta the decision of who to take was theirs.

Countries generally take vulnerable migrants who find difficulty integrating.

The UNHCR spokesman added that integration programmes needed to be improved for people who had to stay in Malta at least until they are resettled.

A meeting was held this morning between Sudanese representatives and the UNHCR while another one is scheduled for Friday.

Hmm. Nice work if you can get it; how about we just save everyone the bother and improve repatriation programmes instead?

That way, knowing they would be thwarted at every turn by the proper authorities, the illegal immigrants would largely stop coming in the first place.

Just a thought - might leave Fabrizio out of a job though.

Race Riots in Moscow

Monday's Guardian featured a characteristically self-righteous article on the violence which flared in Moscow over the weekend:

At least two people were killed after around 5,000 far-right football fans and nationalists gathered at a rally outside Red Square at the weekend, calling for the death of Russia's immigrant population.
The demonstrators, who were marking the death last week of Spartak Moscow fan Yegor Sviridov, who was shot during a brawl with several men from the Caucasus, flashed the Nazi salute, chanted "Russia for Russians" and pelted riot police with flares, smoke bombs and metal fence posts.
After the rally hundreds of protesters entered the Moscow metro where they continued their rampage, beating and stabbing passersby from Central Asia and the Caucasus, Russia's troubled, mainly Muslim, southern region. A Kyrgyz man was attacked by 15 people and stabbed to death. One central Asian man was reported to have died in hospital from his injuries following the riot, but officials have declined to comment. More than 20 people were taken to hospital. Video images showed several men from Central Asia and the Caucasus walking dazed with bloody faces.

The violence is truly appalling, as are most of the sentiments, and I could never condone such actions.

I can't help but feel the Guardian is being somewhat disingenuous, however. The violence began after a Russian was killed and another severely injured in a clash with a gang from the North Caucasus; they acknowledge that themselves, but are only interested in what happened afterwards - because they want the right sort of bogeymen, and they always have to start with the words "far-right."

The massive influx of immigrants from what was Soviet Central Asia, which may total in the millions, is a big issue in Russia; so is the organised crime and casual violence perpetrated by gangs from the Caucasus on the streets of Russian cities.

As far as I can tell, riots such as these are what governments get when people are ignored. They are the sort of thing I would like to avoid happening here in Britain, but fear will come about one day if the people are continually ignored.

Russia Today carried an article that was equally disingenuous - but from a slightly different perspective:

Those behind Saturday’s nationalist riots in central Moscow seek to break up Russia, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has told the press in Grozny.
"I am certain that some destructive forces lit the fire of disturbances and sent a crowd which started beating natives of the Caucasus and Asians. Any country that is home to dozens of ethnic groups can suffocate on ethnic, racial conflicts. And Russia's enemies are very well aware of that. Having failed to break up the country with wars and terror in its south, they have now chosen new methods,"
the Interfax news agency quoted Kadyrov as saying on Monday.
"The hotheads should be reminded that the Caucasus is Russia," said the Chechen leader. "I want to responsibly state that the population of our region supports decisive measures taken and being taken by the country's law enforcement agencies to restore due order," Kadyrov said.
"Punishment must be unavoidable for every criminal. Today we are all outraged by what happened. What happened on Manezhnaya Square is a disgrace. Such manifestations point to the need to focus on inter-ethnic policy and highlight it as one of the priorities of the government's policy," Kadyrov said.

A word from Chechnya's thug-in-chief - we are indeed honoured.

It's strange, but I don't remember Mr Kadyrov being so enamoured with Russian rule when he was fighting an insurgency against them and killing their soldiers.

But of course, now the Russians have bought him off and let him run Chechnya as his own personal fiefdom, it's all different. If he loves Russia so much, then why is he so eager to impose sharia law and medieval Islamic customs in Chechnya?

Perhaps those Chechens who detonate themselves on the Moscow subway or behead captured Russian soldiers are the ones who need reminding who is "part of Russia" and who isn't?

Of course, the most interesting part of Kadyrov's words are the mysterious other that he mentions who is inciting all this trouble - who could that be then? The US? The West? The... Jews? Could it be that the two sides meet in the middle on this?

Kadyrov sounds as paranoid as the skinhead thugs running around stabbing people in Moscow, who the Guardian helpfully inform us were seen screaming "Yids! Get out of Russia!" However, in Russia such sentiments are certainly not the preserve of the far-right alone.

It's just worth remembering, as always, that there are two sides to every story. I remember when race riots broke out in the northern Russian town of Kondopoga in 2006.

More than 100 people have been arrested in the town, and three of them charged with murder, prosecutors say.
The violence was sparked by the death of two ethnic Russians last week during a cafe fight with Chechens.
Kondopoga lies about 100km (60 miles) north of Petrozavodsk - the capital of Russia's republic of Karelia.
Reports from the town say members of far-right groups from across the country travelled to the town to join in the violence.

Interesting. Here's another view on the same events, which strangely provides more details about the mysterious deaths of the two Russians:

There’s was a brawl that left two of the Russians dead. Nothing is said about the cause of their death. Could they have a heart attack? Quite possible. Here’s the actual chain of events. Two Russians at the restaurant “Chaika” had a brawl with the waiter who supposedly brought them cheap vodka in a bottle from expensive one. Russians refused to pay for it. The barman called the local Chechen “rescue team”.

It arrived an hour later when Russians who actually started the brawl already left. About 15 Chechens armed with knives, sharpened steel bars and baseball bats rushed into the restaurant, cried, “Allahu Akbar!” and started thrashing indiscriminately everyone who was unlucky to be at the restaurant by that time. People were defending themselves with chairs and tables. In less than 5 minutes the Chechen “rescue team” killed two men and mutilated 15, eight of them were beaten within an inch of their life. Having done that Chechens left the restaurant. During the “brawl” two local police cars were staying right at the restaurant and later a third one came. Policemen didn’t interfere. Later it became known that they actually were on the rescue team’s payroll and in fact were giving protection to the bandits.

Apparently this mutilation included two Russians having eyes gouged out.

There's such a thing as mass racist violence - but there's also such a thing as the incidents which build up to spark it off. We only know what we're told - and it increasingly seems our own media are as biased, in their own way, as a known Russian mouthpiece.

Yesterday I wrote about the case of Sandrine Mouleres, who had the fine she was issued for driving in her Islamic veil annulled by a French court.

According to French-language media, Sandrine responded by declaring: "I can once again be proud of my country."

Yes, you've won a convincing victory over equality before the law and the idea that people should take reasonable steps to drive safely - congratulations, Sandrine.

That's not the most interesting part of the story, however; her husband, Algiers-born Lies Hebbadj, is a far more interesting character.

By interesting, I of course mean the worst kind of parasite. Hebbadj is a "businessman" and polygamist with fifteen children who, over the past year or so, has been accused of embezzlement, benefit fraud, rape and sexual assault:

This 35 year old man, who had contested the ticket in April received by one of his three mistresses for driving in the full veil, had already been indicted for "benefit fraud", "scams" and "aggravated rape "on one of his former companions. He is now accused of having paid his first attorney's fees with the cheque book of the association he presided over.
Liès Hebbadj, owner of a halal butcher shop and a mobile phone shop, campaigned at the head of this association. "This small association collected money to build a mosque in Rezé, hence the outrage of its members when they learned that Liès Hebbadj had used the money to pay his lawyers," said Xavier Ronsin, prosecutor in Nantes.
Father of fifteen children and claiming three "mistresses" in addition to his wife, he was accused in April of "polygamy" by the Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux, who suggested that this situation is punishable by a forfeiture of French nationality.

He's still there though, enriching, and no doubt laughing at, France and French taxpayers. For the breach of trust (i.e. embezzlement) case mentioned above, he received a two month suspended prison sentence.

For those who can read French, here is a more detailed account of his antics - which include being an illegal slum landlord and chasing young girls abroad - and some more information on his four wives, some of whom he seduced as young girls.

I must say having read the information I am clueless as to how this man's presence in any way benefits or enriches France; quite the opposite, in fact. As with so many Western nations, it's sad to see what's become of a once proud country.

More on the Swedish Suicide Bombing

Over the past couple of days, more information has emerged about Taimour Abdulwahad Al-Abdaly, the Iraqi who blew himself up in Stockholm on Saturday in an attempt to massacre hundreds of innocent Christmas-shoppers.

Much is now being made of the time he spent in Britain; apparently before he came here (and before the dastardly British authorities failed to stop him being radicalised) he was a "normal, friendly young immigrant to Sweden."

That's a relief, because clearly it means that the Swedish government and its immigration policies are not in any way to blame; just like when all those other smiling, friendly young immigrants to Sweden stab and rape Swedish women, attack fire engines and police officers, defraud the welfare system, murder their wives and daughters, riot during Ramadan, etc etc.

In the context of these crimes - sorry, vibrant success stories - and the general immigrant ghettoes which now exist in some Swedish cities, it's nice to know that someone else can carry the can. In this case, the scapegoat is Britain, rather than racism and Islamophobia.

After leaving Sweden in 2001, Abdulwahab settled in Luton, Bedforshire where he attended the local university (apparently described as "the worst university in Britain" by the Sunday Times in 2004).

Here he underwent a mysterious process called "radicalisation" which seems to happen to all Muslims in the West who aspire to slaughter infidels.

The BBC were quick to crow when it emerged that Abdulwahab had been expelled from a mosque in Luton for simply being too extreme, after holding sermons calling for Jihad and suicide bombings.

Despite their intense pleasure that not all Muslims appear to wish to see us dead, the following details also emerged:

Astonishingly, despite alarming fellow mosque-goers in Luton with calls for suicide bombings and Islamic revolution, Abdulwahab seems not to have been reported to British police.

Some worshippers even appeared to know that he had travelled to Yemen, a centre for Al Qaeda training which has been at the root of two of the terror group’s most recent attempt to strike at the West – the printer bomb plot in October and last Christmas’s underpants bomber.

Yes, how astonishing - Muslims covering for one of their own. I've never heard of anything like it before.

Whilst in Britain, Abdulwahab married a Muslim woman and they had three children - two girls and a boy, who came along in June. A proud Abdulwahab named his son, who no doubt the British taxpayers will pay to raise, Osama.

The Swedish Foreign Minister, Carl Bildt, is also puzzled about just what could be behind all of this:

He [Bildt] also said Swedish media were reporting that Abdulwahab 'was profoundly transformed by something that happened while he was in the UK'.

Mr Bildt told BBC Newsnight: 'It looks like he was heading into probably the most crowded place in Stockholm at the most crowded time of the year.

'He was heading into a place where, if he had exploded all the ordnance he had with him - and that was quite substantial - it would have been mass casualties of a sort we haven't seen in Europe for quite some time.

'(We were) just minutes and a couple of hundreds of metres away from something catastrophic.'

Remind us Mr Bildt - when was the last time Europe saw casualties on a scale you're talking about? What were the circumstances, exactly?

No?

I'll give you a clue then - it was probably the Madrid railway bombings in 2004. Of course, there have been many other attacks and planned attacks in Europe before and since.

What do they all have in common, exactly?

We can blame Britain, British universities, British mosques until we are blue in the face - but we have to be honest. What all of these things have in common are Islam and Muslims.

The only reason Abdulwahab was able to be "radicalised" here in the first place is because there are so many Muslims present, and speaking out about the disproportionate role they play in terrorist violence is seen as poltically unsound.

Instead we have to pretend it's a few radicals, a few extremists, whilst leaving the floodgates open and continuing to turn a blind eye to just how Muslim immigration has transformed this country and this continent.

If we hadn't let in so many Muslims, if there weren't so many mosques and Islamic centres and university Islamic societies, then this "radicalisation" would not be our problem.

How much energy, effort and treasure are we supposed to expend ensuring that people don't get blown up for drawing a cartoon? The only way to safeguard against the creed of Islam is to stop inviting and facilitating Islam.

Britain didn't make Abdulwahab do what is shown in the video below; Islam did. It doesn't matter how friendly he was, how many naive Swedish women he fooled around with, how many beers he drank as a teenager - he was still a Muslim, his culture and mindset were still profoundly alien to Sweden and the West and he acted as such when he thought it counted.

If we can't understand that, then we really are finished.

America Narrowly Avoids Another Islamic Terror Attack

A Baltimore man accused of plotting to blow up a military recruiting station was "grinning from ear to ear" and said "Allahu Akbar" as he prepared to detonate what he thought was a powerful bomb last week, federal prosecutors said Monday.

Antonio Martinez, 21, who recently converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Hussain, is accused of trying to kill members of the military whom he saw as a threat to Muslims. The FBI learned of Martinez's intentions through an informant, joined the plot and supplied him with a fake car bomb that he tried to detonate, authorities said.

Prosecutors portrayed Martinez as a man who was determined to cause as much harm as possible and sees himself as a holy warrior. But defense attorney Joseph Balter said his client was "incapable" of carrying out an attack on his own, failed when he tried to recruit confederates to join him and was caught in a "government sting operation."

Since when was incompetence considered a legitimate defence in America?

Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Manuelian said that after his arrest, Martinez admitted his role in the bomb plot and said it was his idea. She said he told agents that he parked the sport-utility vehicle that contained the bomb close to the front of the recruiting center where he thought a blast would cause the most harm. She said he even admitted that local imams had tried to talk him out of an attack, saying it was a time for peace.

Talked him out of the attack - but did any of them think of going to the authorities? Good, true blue Americans that I'm sure they all are?

"Clearly, on the face of these charges is a very legitimate issue as to whether the government entrapped Mr. Hussain," Balter said. "They induced him to be involved in an act that was clearly the design of the government."

Arguments made in the detention hearing in U.S. District Court in Baltimore are a preview of what is to come as courts consider the FBI's increasing use of undercover agents who monitor extremists, pose as co-conspirators and sometimes provide the means to carry out an attack.

The FBI's tactic has been criticized by some Muslims, who accuse government agents of trying to entrap members of their community. Legal experts say that the strategy can be effective in securing more serious charges and that if the accused intended to carry out an attack and wasn't persuaded by the government, it is not entrapment.

Truly astonishing. They're always the victims, aren't they? A Muslim launches yet another plot to slaughter as many infidels as possible, and it's the FBI's fault for infiltrating his plans before they could be carried out. After all, if they'd left him alone he might have got bored and decided to ram his car into a group of pedestrians or take up long-range rifle firing instead.

Despite the whining of the defence, the picture becomes clearer:

In Martinez's case, prosecutors said that it was Martinez's idea to target the recruiting center and that he brought up the idea of using a bomb. They said that he was given several opportunities to back out of the plan but that he chose to press forward.

In a video secretly taken of Martinez as he attempted to detonate the bomb, he appeared to be doing "an everyday task" and showed no remorse or nervousness, Manuelian said.

Balter said that Martinez never bought a weapon and that the people he sought to recruit to help him carry out an attack "blew him off immediately."

Perhaps because they knew this fool was likely to get them all caught? Who knows, but that hardly makes Martinez innocent in all of this.

Manuelian said Martinez and the informant planned to video the explosion after he detonated the bomb from a site within eyeshot of the Catonsville, Md., recruiting station.

"We are not criminals," she said Martinez said into the camera. "We are mujaheddin."

I concur - clearly all of this is down to the latent Islamophobia of the dastardly FBI.

If only they'd show respect for certain Islamic cultural and religious traditions, such as launching a cowardly attack on US troops and putting the video footage on YouTube, a lot of this tension between the two communities might simply be avoided in the first place.

A Politically Correct Lucia in Sweden

In Sweden and other Scandinavian countries, the 13th December is observed as St. Lucy's day (or Lucia for short). It's one of the few Saints' days still observed in northern Europe.

Wikipedia has a section on this tradition:

In Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, Lucy (called Lucia) it is venerated on December 13 in a ceremony where a girl is elected to portray Lucia. Wearing a white gown with a red sash and a crown of candles on her head, she walks at the head of a procession of women, each holding a candle. The candles symbolize the fire that refused to take St. Lucia's life when she was sentenced to be burned. The women sing a Lucia song while entering the room, to the melody of the traditional Neapolitan song Santa Lucia; the Italian lyrics describe the view from Santa Lucia in Naples, the various Scandinavian lyrics are fashioned for the occasion, describing the light with which Lucia overcomes the darkness. Each Scandinavian country has lyrics in their native tongues. After finishing this song, the procession sings Christmas carols or more songs about Lucia. A similar version occurs in Scandinavian communities and churches in the United States.

You'll note that all the girls in the procession are in white; it's part of the tradition.

Not in one Swedish church procession, however:

Those who expected a traditional Lucia procession of white in the Country Church were horribly disappointed that the politically correct-pestilential fog has settled even at this Swedish tradition.

Instead, the kids wore different colours to represent different nationalities and this debacle is said to be a symbol of diversity. [above, photo credit Ulf Johansson.]

Skelleftea district's Lucia Jessica Erickson was dressed in white, but her bridesmaids wore dresses of blue, red, brown, green, yellow and grey.

Behind the initiative lies Anette Novak, editor of Norran, along with Lions "to embrace diversity" - a decision that was taken after the September elections.

Ah yes, altering traditions for absolutely no reason to "embrace diversity" - it all sounds awfully familiar.

Would it be impertinent to ask if there might be one day in Sweden where that country's culture, history and traditions could be "embraced" as opposed to mocked?

It seems even this change wasn't a change far enough for some:

Of course you would think that it would have been better if Lucia candidates were of different nationalities. When the idea came upon us the process of Lucia admissions had already started and when we selected, we estimated ability to sing and then chose the nominees.

Why, Mats, would I think that it would have been better if the candidates to take part in a Swedish national tradition in a Swedish church in Sweden were not Swedish?

What normal person could possibly think that, and why?

I suppose people like Mats, of course, look forward to the day when there are a minority of Swedish people in Sweden and everything can be so gloriously diverse - won't that be something to embrace, eh?

Anette Novak, whose scheme this was, chimes in:

The Suicide bomber in Stockholm made this quiet rally for diversity, for love and for all people, scarily topical. We must show that we are united.

United you are Anette - with people like the bomber in wishing to change Sweden beyond recognition, to destroy it in its current form, I would have thought.

What else could be behind such nonsensical zealotry - a taxpayer funded grant, perhaps?

It's sentiments such as the one above which made Sweden vulnerable in the first place - by pretending all people are the same, all cultures are the same, and we are all interchangeable.

How does denying Swedish girls the chance to be in the procession in favour of foreigners next year help with "unity" in any way?

The Swedish people need to wake up to the social engineering, defend their country and defend their traditions.

"Soldiers of Islam" Latest Australian Biker Gang

A disturbing article from the Daily Telegraph (AUS) which demonstrates how violent Middle Eastern gangs are spreading from Sydney to Queensland's Gold Coast:

POLICE have discovered pictures of Osama bin Laden at a Gold Coast home linked to a worrying new bikie gang called Soldiers of Islam, whose members include former Iraqi soldiers.
Photos of the fugitive al-Qaeda leader were found recently at the home of a gang member during a criminal investigation.

Soldiers of Islam, also known as Sons of Islam, is believed to be an offshoot of outlaw bikie gang the Bandidos, which has a clubhouse at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast.

Sources say the gang, comprising young Muslim men who sport "SOI'' tattoos, has sprung up on the Glitter Strip relatively recently.

While only small in membership, the gang is coming under increasing attention from police investigating bikie links to crimes involving drugs, guns and violence.

"They are relatively new on the Gold Coast scene but seem to be involving themselves in some scary things,'' a source said.

"They are associated with the Bandidos. Some of the members are ex-Iraqi soldiers with weapons training, so it's quite a worry.''

The Courier-Mail understands that apart from the Bin Laden photos, police did not find any terrorism-related material at the Soldiers of Islam member's house.

Middle Eastern gangs, while active in Sydney, have only recently been making their presence felt in Queensland and particularly on the Gold Coast.

Police have identified bikies from Sydney as being involved in the drive-by shooting murder of Gold Coast father-of-two Omega Ruston outside McDonald's at Burleigh Heads on Australia Day 2008. The case remains unsolved.

One of the Coast's most notorious bikies is Lebanese-born Yassar Bakir, who joined the high-profile Finks gang several years ago.

Bakir was last month convicted of importing GBL, a chemical used to make the powerful drug "fantasy'', and was jailed for six years.

The trial heard Bakir used violence and threats to force another man to import the drug into Australia from China.

Bakir was also charged with the attempted murder of a former professional rugby player, cage fighter and Japanese Yakuza bodyguard, who was pumped with bullets on the Southport Spit in 2006.

However, the charges were dropped after the victim failed to show up to court to testify.

Another Finks bikie of Middle Eastern descent, Richard Savage, received a suspended sentence in 2007 after admitting to a violent rampage at Gold Coast Hospital because of delays in his wife getting haemorrhoid surgery.

The court heard Savage told terrified nurses he was "the king of the Gold Coast'' and threatened to get 30 Finks to "trash the hospital until his wife was operated on''.

I know it's a theme I return to often - but just what are any of these individuals doing in Australia in the first place?

Are they ever likely to make productive citizens in a civilised Western country that's totally alien to them? They've answered that question themselves - they've been given a shot at building a life in a decent country which people are dying to get into, and all they can do is spread the crime and misery they fled in the first place.

What kind of society needs "fomer Iraqi soldiers with weapons training" running around?

Certainly not one that wishes to remain free and safe, I'd imagine. It should be strange that such things are not questioned in the article or by the Australian media generally - but of course, they never are, even if the bare facts make it into the public domain (or simply can't be suppressed any longer).

Australia will treat these people lightly at its peril - or rather, the Australian government will treat them lightly by making it easier and easier for them to immigrate, backed by the media which will never knowingly put two and two together and come up with four - and ordinary Australians will pay the price.

French Court Annuls Fine Issued to Veiled Woman Driver

This case is a classic example of the politically correct thinking which infects the European judicial elite, and is probably an example of why so many Muslims in Europe think they're above the law:

A French court has annulled a fine given to a woman driver wearing an Islamic face veil, months before a ban on wearing the garments goes into effect.
Traffic police in the western city of Nantes fined 31-year-old Sandrine Mouleres euro22 ($29.22) in April, saying she did not have a clear field of vision, but the court quashed the fine Monday.

Jean-Michel Pollono, Mouleres' attorney, said the court in Nantes had ruled "we are in a free country, and as a result, everything that isn't forbidden is allowed."

The initial fine drew widespread attention amid a nationwide debate over the place of Islamic veils. In September, the French parliament agreed to a ban on face-covering veils - such as the niqab or burqa - from being worn in public. The ban goes into effect in spring.

As is clearly stated in the article, the traffic policemen did not issue the fine just because she was wearing a veil, but because they felt it interfered with her ability to drive safely.

Here is a picture of Mouleres in her veil.

Honestly, is it safe for her to be driving in such a garment? Any non-Muslim wearing such a ridiculous thing to drive in would have the book thrown at them if caught, and no one would give it a second thought.

We not only have the issue here of inequality before the law (i.e. special treatment for Muslims), but also the issue of rights; does the right of Muslim women to wear their veil whilst driving really trump the right other road users, pedestrians and general infidels have to be safe, to be protected by the law?

I know which I think is more important.

Houssam Djemaa Accused of Murdering Jacqueline Barrett

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found at a house in north London.

Houssam Djemaa, 23, of Anderson Court, Whitefield Avenue, Cricklewood, is accused of murdering Jacqueline Barrett, 34, of the same address.

Police were called early on Saturday to reports that a woman had been assaulted. Post-mortem tests found the cause of death to have been asphyxia.

Mr Djemaa will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court later.

An 18-year-old man also arrested following the death has been bailed until later in the month.

Mohamad Tohme - The Worst Taxi Driver in Sydney

It's another case of those hard working immigrants doing the jobs Australians just won't do - that doesn't necessarily mean they'll do them well, though.

MEET Mohamad Tohme. Despite tough competition, he might just be Sydney's worst taxi driver.

In 12 years on the road for four major cab companies, he has been accused of slapping, abusing and swearing at customers, refusing short fares and deliberately taking the longest possible route.
He once took a passenger from the airport to Annandale via Oxford St - during Mardi Gras. Last year, he was accused of exposing his genitals after a lewd suggestion to a dissatisfied customer.
Mr Tohme says he's just misunderstood, adding "I've got maybe bad people skills."
The Administrative Decisions Tribunal last week found those bad people skills include convictions for domestic violence and assaulting police and a business associate.During the Mardi Gras incident in 1998, he allegedly also demanded $50 - instead of the $32 on the meter - "because the trip had taken over 15 minutes". This, five other complaints and a 1999 conviction for bashing his wife with a shoe led the Department of Transport to ask him to show cause why his licence should not be revoked.
He asked for another chance and got a final warning. Then in 2004, he allegedly slapped a female passenger.
Fortunately for Mr Tohme, the charge of assault was withdrawn. However, two charges of resisting police and assaulting an officer were not.
Mr Tohme's taxi licence was suspended while he was ordered to undergo an anger- management course. When this was completed, he resumed driving. Between 2006 and 2008 there were another five complaints. In 2008, Mr Tohme was convicted of punching and kicking a "business associate" during a dispute at a service station.
His authority was cancelled but again he pleaded for mercy and it was reinstated for six months. Five months and one week later, in February 2009, a customer asked to be taken to Surry Hills.
According to a subsequent complaint, Mr Tohme refused, got out and "slammed the door so hard, something broke. He opened the door and started screaming".
Inexplicably, he kept driving. In May last year a Westin Hotel doorman complained that, when asked to take a short fare to King St Wharf, Mr Tohme told a passenger to "f ... off". At Darling Harbour in July last year, he allegedly refused fares to Glebe and Leichhardt, telling a passenger to "suck my penis" while exposing himself. The next month the department cancelled his authority.
Mr Tohme denied abusing customers or exposing himself, but tribunal member Peter Molony was "satisfied that he is not a fit and proper person to drive a taxi cab".

It's strange - all this fuss over him driving a taxi, but no one has seemingly ever thought to ask just how on earth someone like this gets into Australia and stays there.

The requirements Westerners who wish to reside there have to meet are very tough; what makes them think they need clowns like this more?

More information has been found about Taimour Abdulwahab Al-Abdaly, the suspected suicide bomber who detonated himself in central Stockholm yesterday.

Apparently his surname is Al-Abdaly - here is his Facebook profile. He lived in Tranås, Jönköping.

This is where the car which exploded yesterday was registered to him, and the Swedish newspaper Expressen reports that the car owner has been confirmed as the suicide bomber.

This was the first ever suicide bombing on Swedish soil - but he is the seventh Swedish citizen to become a suicide bomber, and apparently the third to actually succeed in detonating himself.

As I wrote earlier, he was 28, born in Baghdad, moved to Sweden in 1992 and in 2001 he moved to the United Kingdom to study. It seems he graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2004 with a Bsc in Sport Therapy.

The police assume that the attacker detonated the car, which was filled with gas canisters, in order to attract police and emergency personnel.

A witness named Pascal told DN.se that he heard the explosion and saw smoke coming from Bryggargatan street. He ran 30 meters down the road and around the corner and saw a badly injured 26-26 year old man lying on his back.

Pascal is a trained medic and tried to save the man: "When I arrived he heaved his chest a few times, but had no pulse. I removed a Palestinian scarf from his face to free his airways and attempted CPR, but it was too late."

Pascal says the man was seriously wounded in his stomach. Next to him he saw a two-meter pipe and a shoulder bag. It looked as though something exploded in his stomach. He had no injuries to his face or elsewhere in his body, and the shop windows around him were whole.

Pascal: "My first thought was that the man was a terrorist."

Expressen reports that police suspect the bomber blew up too early. He was heading for a street filled with Christmas shoppers. Police are now looking for a person seen talking to the bomber just before he exploded.

Aftonbladet reports that the suicide bomber signed the email (SE) sent just minutes before the explosion with his own name, whilst the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reports that the name on the email is indeed the car owner's name.

The email he sent to the Swedish News Agency (TT) and SAPO ten minutes before the attack is still being analysed:

The email, which was sent to the country's security service and the TT news agency, called for "mujahideen" - or Islamist fighters - to rise up in Sweden and Europe, promising Swedes would "die like our brothers and sisters".

It also attacked the country for caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed drawn by Swedish artist Lars Vilks.
"The mail was about one man," police spokesman Ulf Goransson told a press conference on Sunday.

"He was not satisfied with developments in Sweden regarding [the fact] that we have military troops in other countries, that there had been protests and that there have been said bad things about the Prophet [Mohammed].

"But we are still analysing this email so it's too early to say anything more."

"Not satisfied with developments in Sweden" - it seems Mr Goransson has an almost British knack for understatement.

One of the most controversial cartoons by Lars Vilks featured Mohammed with the body of a dog.

Meanwhile, the Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt took to Twitter to express his thoughts:

Tweeting about the blasts, Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said a terrorist attack that could have been "truly catastrophic" had failed.

Well, they didn't fail as such, did they Mr Bildt? Two large explosions were caused and two people were injured.

The only saving grace is that a dodgy connecting wire meant that five of the pipe bombs the jihadist was carrying failed to detonate.

What has failed are the policies of the Swedish government, who wanted to smear anyone who questioned their immigration policy and warned of an event like this as a Nazi.

Just think of how bad this could have been. Witnesses said if he'd got a couple of yards further, there would have been a massacre, and if all the bombs had detonated there would have been unimaginable carnage.

The Telegraph also reports on the email which was sent before the attack:

Swedish news agency TT reported that it had received messages about 10 minutes before the first blast in Arabic and Swedish, warning of unspecified "action."

"Our acts will speak for themselves," TT quoted the message as saying. "Now your children, your daughters and your sisters will die as our brothers, our sisters and our children are dying."

The message referred to the Swedish military presence in Afghanistan as part of the US-led international security force, TT added.

Punitive actions would continue "as long as you do not stop your war against Islam, your degradation of the Prophet and your stupid support for the pig Vilks," said the statement.

Yeah - and as long as you keep inviting the holy warriors in to live amongst you on welfare benefits, no doubt.

There is a memorial page on Facebook dedicated to the memory of Taimour Abdulwahab, with 246 supporters so far. It's also noted that, had he lived, Abdulwahab would have been 29 today (he was born on the 12/12/1981).

Although Politiskt Inkorrekt reports that some mainstream imams in Sweden have condemned the attacks and attempted to distance Abdulwahab's actions from Islamic theology, many Muslims disagree with their interpretation of the faith:

"God bless you" writes a poster.
On the forum in which martyrs and suicide bombing attacks are discussed, Abdulwahab's attack in Stockholm is widely praised.

Several argued that the attack was carried out in the name of God.

There is also a longer report on the background of the suicide bomber - and his background and connection to Britain have made the British MSM, in the guise of the Daily Mail.

The article notes that this man, one of the countless invaluable immigrants advanced European countries apparently cannot live without, was working on the street where he died - wearing a sandwich board advertising a fish and chip shop.

Despite having a degree from the University of Bedfordshire, the standard of his written English can be seen in his dating site advert at the top of this page, which perhaps explains his career choice.

Muslim Inmates Assault Prison Officer at Feltham YOI

Four young British Muslim extremists chanted religious slogans as they battered a prison officer. The gang chanted "death to the Kuffar" (non-believer) and "Allah Akbar" (God is Great) as they laid into the warder - who is in his 40s - after prayers.

It is believed they were trying to steal his keys to let other inmates out and start a riot at the notorious Feltham Young Offenders' Institute in Middlesex.

A fellow officer came to his rescue as he hid under a pool table and used his baton to drive them back.

A source said: "It was a frightening and violent assault. The guard was lucky to escape with his life."

I wonder if there will be a full investigation? Clearly a hate crime was committed.

I also wonder just how powerful such Muslim gangs really are in some of Britain's prisons, and just how much of this goes on that the wider public never gets to hear about.

In any case, it's hardly reassuring, is it? Even behind bars they're still ruling the roost whilst the authorites fall back in fear of offending them.

What's interesting is the fact they attacked the prison officer after Islamic prayers, whilst shouting religious slogans - generally, if something was connected to a violent incident in that way, they should be banned from partaking in it again.

When is the offence and violent disorder they cause going to be taken anywhere near as seriously?

Man with Axe Arrested Near Swedish Prime Minister's Office

A man has been arrested after waving an axe menacingly and shouting outside the office of the Swedish Prime Minister.

At about 11.30 am he sped off in a car before being caught by police, who arrested him with their guns drawn.

Taimour Abdulwahab's email, sent just before yesterday's suicide attack, urged:

***UPDATE 21:24***: An article at the Swedish-language site Politiskt Inkorrekt suggests that this incident is the first ever suicide bombing on Swedish soil.

The car which exploded was an Audi 80 Avanti, registered to a "Taimour Abdulwahab" in southern Sweden. The blasts appeared to be coordinated and aimed at the Christmas shoppers milling about in central Stockholm.

After the car bomb detonated, a second explosion occurred 300 metres away - which appeared to have been the bomber, wearing a Palestinian scarf, detonating a suicide vest:

The man carried six interconnected pipe bombs, but only one exploded, because the connections were damaged.

He had a backpack containing nails, and was heard by witnesses shouting something in Arabic before the explosion.

Police sent a bomb robot to examine the corpse, which ascertained the body was surounded by nails and covered in a substance believed to be explosives.

That's a very, very loose translation on my part. Politiskt Inkorrekt has another picture:

They also report that ten minutes before the explosion, a Swedish news agency was emailed a video condemning Swedish silence on the Lars Vilks cartoons and the presence of Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan. The video, addressed to the Swedish people, featured a man telling them that "now your daughters and sisters are dying, the same as our brothers, sisters and children are dying."

The BBC are being remarkably candid about tonight's terrorist attack in Sweden:

The managing editor of Swedish news agency TT told the BBC his organisation had received an e-mail shortly before the blasts that said it was now time for Swedish people to die "like our brothers and sisters".

Mats Johansson said the message was addressed to Sweden and the Swedish people.

It included references to caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed drawn by Swedish artist Lars Vilks as well as Sweden's military presence in Afghanistan, Mr Johansson said.

"Our actions will talk for themselves. As long as you do not end your war against Islam and humiliation of the prophet and your stupid support for the pig Vilks," Reuters quoted the message as saying.

The Swedish police, however, are not:

Swedish newspapers said the second blast was set off by a suicide bomber, and a local news agency said it received a threatening e-mail.

But a police spokesman told the BBC that no cause had yet been determined.

Yeah, perhaps it was Sven Svensson angry about having to queue up for his Christmas presents.

Apparently there has now been a clmapdown on information, and the police are holding crisis talks with the security services (SAPO) as they investigate and prepare preliminary raids on suspects.

It is not yet clear if Taimour Abdulwahab is the jihadist bomber or the individual who appeared in the threatening video.

A white car detonated in Olof Palme Street at approximately 16.50 CET, leaving one man dead and two passersby injured.

There are reports of a second explosion in nearby Queen Street.

The car apparently had its boot packed with gas bottles.

The police have called in SAPO, because "early developments suggest a terrorist link."

The BBC confirms there were two blasts:

A car blew up near the busy shopping street of Drottninggatan, and another explosion hit nearby minutes later, AP news agency quoted police as saying.

A man's body was discovered after the second blast, the agency reported.
Rescue services spokesman Roger Sverndal said the car which exploded had contained gas canisters, AP reported.

A former AP worker, Gabriel Gabiro, was close to the second blast.

"I saw some people crying, perhaps from the shock," he told the agency.

"There was a man lying on the ground with blood coming out in the area of his belly, and with his personal belongings scattered around him."

Moroccan Kidnapped, Raped & Killed 13 Year Old in Italy

On the same day a 21-year-old Moroccan allegedly under the influence of drugs killed seven cyclists and injured three others, one of whom is in a critical condition, after losing control of his car at Lamezia Terme in the southern region of Calabria

The good folk at ANSA are very concerned - not about the 8 or 9 Italians who might still be alive today but for their country's madcap immigration policies, but about the "intolerance" aimed at Moroccans which is bound to grow following these "two tragedies":

Two separate tragedies in which Moroccan migrants were implicated at the weekend have raised gusts of intolerance from some quarters in Italy.

A banner reading ''An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth'' was put up by one local at Brembate Sopra after news spread of the arrest of the 22-year-old, who has denied killing Yara Gambirasio, whose body has not been found.

Another called on migrants to get ''out of Bergamo'', while racist comments and calls for lynchings appeared on some facebook pages.

The girl's family, in contrast, appealed for calm and Brembate Sopra's Northern League Mayor Diego Locatelli said there should be no ''manhunt''.

But this tone was not shared by other figures in the League, the junior partner in Premier Silvio Berlusconi's centre-right government alliance and a party which frequently takes hardline stances on migration issues.

''We have so many criminals in Italy that we don't need to import them,'' said League Senator Piergiorgio Stiffoni in reference to both cases. ''Let's send them all back home'' League MEP Matteo Salvini echoed those sentiments: ''You can now read about the link between immigration and violence every day in police reports,'' Salvini told Monday's edition of daily newspaper La Repubblica.

''Uncontrolled immigration has caused damage. Those who preached the policy that there's room for everyone have what is happening on their conscience,'' he added, suggesting that even migrants with the necessary documents should not be allowed to enter Italy if they do not have a job. One commentator said intolerance helped some Italians feel they knew who their enemies were in a danger-riddled modern world, even though the threat often stems not from migrants, but from family members, as shown in two other recent high-profile murder cases here.

Indeed, a police car has even been stationed outside the home of the drug-driver's family - just in case.

If only protecting Italians in their own country were so easy.

Unfortunately, this fits a classic pattern. If an immigrant is responsible for a serious crime in a Western country, then it is not the victims of said crime who have suffered - but integration, tolerance and diversity.

The very notion that some people might view incidents such as these (not tragedies, both were deliberately caused by people who could have prevented them if they'd chosen to act differently) as a wake up call against mass immigration from the Third World strikes the media people as beyond the pale.

All the usual cliches are present in the article - bringing up crime committed by Italians, trying to pretend that anyone who is against mass immigration is falsely saying that if all immigrants left, there would be no more crime, for example.

The only good thing is that Italy appears to have some mainstream politicians actually willing to do their job - speak the truth and look after the people they were elected to serve.

Would that this were so in Britain.

Former RAF Man, 69, Attacked by "Asians"

A very disturbing story is reported in today's Daily Mail:

An ex-serviceman wearing an RAF jacket was attacked by thugs who shouted at him 'Bomb the soldiers! Death to the soldiers!'
The 69-year-old was punched and headbutted by two Asian or mixed-race attackers who spotted him in military uniform.
Paramedics took the veteran to hospital after he was left with bruising, black eyes and an injured nose following the early evening attack.
The youths, aged between 17 and 20, shouted offensive remarks about soldiers at the white-haired pensioner and then attacked him when he responded.
The incident happened in Sherwood Street, Fallowfield, Manchester, police revealed today.
Officers today released a shocking picture of the bruised victim in a hospital bed with two black eyes after the attack.
Police Constable Michael Seddon, who is investigating the incident, said: 'This was a mindless and brutal attack on a vulnerable member of the community.
'The victim was left extremely shaken and he is still recovering from his injuries.'
One of the attackers was described as of stocky build, 5ft 6in tall, had thin braided hair and was wearing dark clothing.
The second man was chubby, 5ft 4in tall, had short shaved black hair and was wearing dark clothing.
The two men fled the scene on bicycles.
The ex-serviceman, who was wearing a poppy, was attacked on November 1 but police have only just released information about the incident.

Ah yes, the classic pattern.

Our heroic cultural enrichers even prefer to attack a man who is nearly 70 in pairs, just in case. I'd like to see them try their luck with some current serving soldiers - but then that would require real courage, rather than hate-filled bravado.

The response of the police is also typical; the attack was certainly brutal, but in no way was it "mindless" - it sounds as if the scum in question knew exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it.

Obviously, it would require too many uncomfortable questions to be asked for the average modern public servant to actually come to terms with that reality - so they stick to spouting meaningless drivel, which is genuinely "mindless."

Will this be being treated as a hate crime? After all, if an Englishman can now be convicted and fined for insulting Allah because certain types of blasphemy apparently have a hate crime element, surely New Brits attacking old soldiers because of what they represent to the nation could be viewed similarly?

I have a terrible feeling that this will be swept under the carpet, however. Nothing to see here, no useful lessons to be learned - just another day in our multicultural paradise, where those who have served us and defended us are abused and attacked in the street. After all, they're generally hideously white; it's not as if they're important or special in any way.

Policeman Deliberately Run Down in France

A little past 11:00 on Thursday night a policeman was patrolling the cité of Sevran in Seine-Saint-Denis with his colleagues of the anti-crime brigade (BAC), when he was deliberately run down by a car. He had attempted to stop the car by shooting five times, in self-defense, but in vain. The two suspects are at large. The car was found later with a bag full of drugs (400 grams of marijuana). The policeman, 34 years old, is suffering from a fractured jaw and leg. The perpetrators are being hunted down, and so far there has been one arrest.

The incident "probably took place during a transaction" between drug traffickers, noted the prefect. The city of Sevran is known to be a center of marijuana traffic in Ile-de-France.

As for the video, the policeman (in black) goes much further than the press in describing the injuries. He says there are about 30 fractures, and though the victim's life does not appear to be in danger, he is very very seriously wounded.

Tiberge notes that a "cité" is a housing project or ghetto rather than a translation of "city."
An operation was organised in the ghetto, and the police arrested three suspects.

It later turned out that the hospitalised officer had been shot in the jaw; we do not yet know if he was shot by an assailant or by a fellow officer who was attempting to stop the car.

Further information:

The policeman hospitalized in Paris has a temporary work stoppage of three months. He was wounded in the leg, but also in the face. The jaw fracture was in reality due to a bullet from a firearm. There are only two possibilities: since the suspects did not shoot a gun that evening, either he wounded himself, or a colleague, who shot four times, accidentally shot him.

This story demonstrates the increasing violence that French police officers have to face in the course of their duties; and it's always in the immigrant ghettoes. Back in July, police officers came under fire from automatic weapons in Sevran.

Police have issued an e-fit of a taxi driver who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman who managed to escape from his vehicle but was later attacked and raped.

The 25-year-old victim flagged down a black cab on Shudehill on Saturday at 0100 GMT.

Police said the driver drove her to Ash Street, Harpurhey, where he locked her in the taxi and attacked her.

She managed to escape but police say she was later attacked and raped.

The second attack took place not far from the junction of Ash Street and Cyprus Street.

Det Insp Nick Hughes, said: "The victim was subjected to an awful sexual assault by a man she had trusted to take her home.

"I want to reassure the community we believe this is an isolated incident and are working closely with the taxi licensing officers.

Yet more evidence of how lucky Britain and its people are to have been enriched by our Muslim friends from Pakistan; Mohammed Nawaz came here when he was 17 and opened a successful takeaway business.

Apparently his "local community" held him in high regard. Well, lucky for Nawaz that Britain is so tolerant, open and welcoming towards diversity.

Lucky for him, but not so lucky for others - like the 13 year old British girl he sexually abused countless times in the flat above his shop (the prosecution believe the numkber of occasions she was sexually abused after being coerced with cigarettes may run into 3 figures, but we're certainly talking dozens and dozens of times).

Still not satisfied, Nawaz moved on to abuse an 11 year old girl.

He has just been sentenced to 21 years in prison in absentia, because - whoops - he may have fled back to Pakistan:

A man who raped and sexually abused a 13-year-old girl more than 100 times has been jailed in his absence after he disappeared in the middle of his trial.

Mohammed Nawaz, 57, who is thought to have fled to Pakistan, was given a 21-year sentence at Teesside Crown Court.

He was convicted of four counts of rape and five indecent assaults on two girls after he disappeared in October.

Nawaz, of Flockton Road, East Bowling, Bradford, repeatedly preyed on the 13-year-old, the court heard.

Mr Justice Treacy said Nawaz had shown a "total absence of shame, of recognition of what he has done and of remorse". [That's because, according to his creed he's done nothing wrong. - Ed.]

The court heard Nawaz assaulted the 13-year-old girl at the flat he owned above his takeaway in Stanningley, Leeds.

The judge said: "These acts occurred on dozens and dozens of occasions, probably running into three figures."

The court heard Nawaz would use bribes of cigarettes to coerce the child and would sit in his car waiting for her to pass him in the street.

"This shows a degree of predatory ruthlessness towards an underage girl," the judge said.

Nawaz also abused a younger girl, aged 11.

The offending was prolonged and "committed in a manipulative and cynical way", the judge said.

Nawaz was held in high esteem in his local community, the court heard, having lived in the UK for 40 years and running a successful business and becoming a landlord.

The judge made a Sexual Offences Prevention Order which bans Nawaz from contacting either victim and prevents him from unsupervised contact with any girl under 16.

He will automatically be banned from working with children.

You've got to love the power and majesty of British justice. It's a shame the powers that be couldn't have listened to and protected ordinary people, and banned large numbers of people from completely incompatible cultures from settling here in the first place.

That's the only thing that would have protected these girls - and acknowledging the mistake and rectifying it is the only thing that will stop this happening time and time again.

You'll note, of course, that the BBC found time to list Nawaz's achievements as the poor boy from Pakistan made good in Bradford, but neglected to tell us that where he comes from, behaviour and attitudes such as this are shockingly common - particularly towards infidels.

Shocking, I'm sure. Meanwhile yet two more young British girls are given a life sentence of their own thanks to the social experiment being carried out on our country - and they'll have to serve it whatever happened to Nawaz.

Another British Woman Pays the Price for Celebrating Diversity

There seem to be an increasing number of stories which reveal just what can happen when naive Western women take up with Third World immigrants, under the impression that they're exotic and interesting.

Of course, none of these women will have had a politically incorrect education which reveals just how backward and primitive some of the cultures these men come from are; as far as they're concerned, mass immigration and diversity are just great, and anyone who thinks otherwise is an evil racist - i.e. morally flawed.

The consequences such women can suffer as a result of bringing these men into their lives is unsurprisingly not widely publicised; the media probably assume that society can't draw any useful conclusions from such incidents - meaning, of course, any conclusions that they and a select circle of elite liberals would agree with.

In the latest case that has been brought to my attention, a Kenyan illegal immigrant has been jailed for eight years after stabbing his ex-girlfriend with a knife and a meat fork:

A man has been jailed for eight years after he admitted a knife attack on his ex-girlfriend as she was babysitting.

Jacob Samba, 32, stabbed Stephanie Hunter with a knife and a meat fork, a month after being bailed for a previous attack on her, the Old Bailey heard.

Miss Hunter, 24, survived after being stabbed in the chest, back and abdomen. She was looking after her neighbour's baby in Southall, west London, in May.

Samba, who was in the UK illegally, had admitted wounding with intent.

The court heard the Kenyan national tried to make the mother-of-two have sex with him after stabbing her.

That's because, whatever illusions she might have been under about the relationship, he saw her as a glorified prostitute and a source of accommodation rather than a human being. Did she really think a much older African illegal immigrant was with her out of love?

He simply couldn't believe his luck and her stupidity and didn't like it when the former ran out on him - it's really that simple.

The way in which many African cultures view women, particularly white women they perceive as loose, is widely acknowledged among people who (have to) take a genuine interest in different cultures and their nuances, rather than a happy-clappy, feel-good warm glow about how every culture other than that created by Western man is somehow noble.

The attacker came to the UK in 2006 to join the Army, but was found to be medically unfit for service.

He moved in with the victim and her children after their relationship began, but was left homeless after they broke up.

At the time of the attack he had overstayed his UK visa.

Andrew Hill, for Samba, said: "He was unable to come to terms with the separation. He was living rough on the streets."

In April, Samba was arrested for common assault after he allegedly grabbed Miss Hunter's hands and pushed her over. He was bailed and told not contact or visit her.

On the day of the attack he forced his way into the property as she looked after the 10-month-old baby, the court heard.

Samba stabbed her with the knife and took up the meat fork after the knife broke.

The attack has "massively affected" Miss Hunter, who suffers from flashbacks and is scared for her children, the court heard.

With all due respect, perhaps if that's the case she should be slightly more choosy about the company she keeps in future - for her children's sake if not her own.

Judge Peter Rook said: "She thought she was going to die and was terrified. She was thinking constantly about the welfare of her own children, who happily were not there, and also the neighbour's baby, who was there.

"You told her you would only put down the meat fork if she had sex with you.

"She refused. You told her that if she told the police you would come back and kill her and the children."

Samba will be deported to Kenya on his release.

Anarchists Don't Understand Irony

Anarchist protesters who attacked Prince Charles's car as it drove him to the London Palladium allegedly shouted "why are we funding you?" and "get a job!"

I'm told in good faith this genuinely took place without irony.

I would say to these scum, whose antics are pictured below, that whatever one's views on the Monarchy, at least Prince Charles serves a purpose; what do they do to earn the tax money that's no doubt lavished on them in various forms (including cleaning up the mayhem they cause)?

The best case scenario is probably roll in for three hours a week of lectures on Britain is Racist, Dude studies at the former Bradford Polytechnic before going home to smoke pot and wallow in their own filth.

I acknowledge that the legitimate protesters have a right to voice their opinions, and in some cases a right to be angry; but where were they when New Labour was squandering all of Britain's money?

Using their Socialist Worker's Party placards to keep the sun off their backs at Glastonbury whilst pontificating to their friends about social justice and the evil Tories, no doubt.

I believe that the government yet again using the money of English taxpayers to buy votes in Scotland and Wales is deeply unjust and deeply wrong, but that is an issue that seems to have been somewhat sidelined in the general noise about tuition fee rises.

The fact is, fees will have to rise because funding the current university system is simply unstainable. What's needed is for that system to be scaled back; we need to be honest that it is much larger than necessary, get rid of some of the more frivolous courses and institutions and return to the days when a university education was a sign of academic prestige, rather than a sign that one is very familiar with drinking games and Pot Noodles.

But of course, pointing that out will only lead to more violence, because many of these people are beyond reason.

I would urge the genuine demonstrators to disassociate themselves with such acts as urinating on Churchill's statue, the descration of the Union Flag and the Cenotaph and the attack on Prince Charles before they lose whatever public sympathy remains for them.

The moron seen desecrating the Cenotaph is Charlie Gilmour, the adopted son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour.

Is calling him a moron a bit harsh? Read Charlie's attempt at an apology before you judge:

"I feel nothing but shame. My intention was not to attack or defile the Cenotaph. Running along with a crowd of people who had just been violently repelled by the police, I got caught up in the spirit of the moment.
"I did not realise that it was the Cenotaph and if I had, I certainly would not have done what I did.

"I feel additionally mortified that my moment of idiocy has distracted so much from the message yesterday's protest was trying to send out."

Seeing as the issue Charlie's actions have apparently distracted us from are giving people like him more money for their education, isn't it slightly worrying that he can't recognise the Cenotaph?

Still, he probably thinks "The Glorious Dead" is a band.

Next he'll be telling us he didn't think it was the Union Flag he was swinging from.

The only thing he's sorry about is getting caught, and it looks like mummy and daddy have got the lawyers and the publicists on to some damage limitation.

Algerian Failed Asylum Seeker Raped Woman in Huddersfield

A FAILED asylum seeker living in Britain illegally has been jailed for raping a woman outside a nightclub.
Algerian Abdul Amouz, 19, dragged his 21-year-old victim into an alley after dancing with her at the Tokyo club in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
She told police she had little memory of the attack, which left her with cuts and bruises. But as Amouz fled he dropped his wallet containing his ID.
Despite DNA evidence, he denied he was responsible for the attack on May 9 until moments before his trial at Leeds Crown Court.
Jailing him for four years and nine months, Judge Rodney Grant described him as a serious danger to young women. He is likely to be deported once released.
James Doyle, mitigating, said Amouz had been in the UK for only three months and was very drunk.

Interesting; despite the brutality and seriousness of the crime, he was only jailed for four years. If he's lucky, he could be out in half the time.

Despite the fact he was here illegally and is deemed a serious danger to our young women, he is only likely to be deported; one wonders what he'd have to do to have made it a certainty.

Also, note the mitigation: "he'd only been in the UK for three months and was very drunk."

Does that make it OK then? It really makes you think about what must go on in Algeria if his defence imply that's what he sees as normal, acceptable behaviour.

I wonder if the fact she was a mere infidel had anything to do with it? Just asking.

Imam Stabbed Neighbour in Canberra

I don't know what's more astounding about this story; the fact that Canberra, the capital of Australia, now features Muslim "street preachers," or that the imam in question used to work for the Royal Australian Air Force.

Whatever it is, I'm sad to say it's not the brutal, casually inflicted violence, because that can now be taken for granted.

A street preacher involved in a stabbing at a Canberra shop last year has told the ACT Supreme Court he could have killed the victim if he had wanted to.

Isa Islam, 37, is on trial for attempted murder, intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm and using an offensive weapon.

The former RAAF employee told the court he had been preaching about the Islamic faith outside the Ainslie shops that morning.

Later that day, he saw his former neighbour in a nearby take away shop.

Islam told the court he believed the man knew who had been breaking into his Ainslie Village room and vandalising his belongings.

He said after his neighbour refused to talk to him he just snapped and started stabbing him.

But he said he certainly did not mean to kill him, saying if he had wanted to he could have cut his throat. [How restrained of him - is this the Islamic equivalent of remorse? - Ed.]

A verdict is expected next year.

It seems that the theme tune of the well known Australian television programme Neighbours was wrong; good neighbours don't necessarily become good friends, particularly if they live in a multicultural hellhole that insists importing Third World people from violent, primitive societies which then acts all hurt and confused when they revert to type - in many tragic cases, spectacularly so.

Yaser El-Waly Raped Blind Woman in Australia

Yet another disturbing story of violence against an Australian woman by a Muslim immigrant has come to light - this one from Keysborough, Victoria. In this instance, the 20 year old lady in question is blind and was on her first solo shopping trip at the time of the attack.

I don't know if this case has been widely reported in the national media (although I can take an educated guess), but here is the report from the Herald Sun newspaper:

A MAN who abducted and raped a blind woman walking with a white cane on her first solo shopping outing will spend at least 11 years behind bars.
Yaser El-Waly, 31, of NSW, was linked to the terrifying attack on July 20, 2006, by DNA matched to an interstate police database.
El-Waly's 20-year-old victim, who is legally blind, was on her first ever solo outing to the supermarket when he spotted her from his car as he drove along Cheltenham Rd in Keysborough.
County Court Judge Gerard Mullaly said El-Waly drove down the wrong side of a service road to catch up with her and then pretended to be from a nearby care facility to gain her trust.
El-Waly bundled the woman into the car and took her to a deserted housing estate where he raped her.
Judge Mullaly said it was impossible to imagine the fear of the blind woman as she was bundled into the car unable to see the stranger abducting then attacking her.
After the attack, the victim, who has partial sight in one eye, led police to the site, where they found El-Waly's DNA, later matched with a sample on the WA police database.
El-Waly had previously been convicted of indecent assault in WA in 2002, Judge Mullaly said.
In her victim impact statement, the woman said she was traumatised, paranoid and suicidal from the attack.
Judge Mullaly said El-Waly had told a police officer he had gone out on the day of the attack looking to have sex with someone.
"There can be no doubt that your crimes have devastated her," he said.
Judge Mullaly said El-Waly's offending was very serious and the courts had a responsibility to protect the public by removing him from the community for some time.
El-Waly was found guilty by a jury of the rape and abduction of his victim.
Judge Mullaly sentenced him to a maximum of 13 years and six months in jail, with a period of 11 years to be served before he is eligible for parole.

It's a shame the Australian government weren't so concerned about protecting the public when they imported the likes of El-Waly en masse, and dismantled reasonable attempts to hinder their invasion of Australia.

I have to say the prison sentence is disappointingly short; this was a brutal crime committed by a predator who has already struck once and clearly has no scruples.

The victim was chosen purely for her vulnerability (and presumably her status as an infidel) by an individual who is clearly a calculating, dangerous psychopath.

35 years followed by deportation would be closer to the mark.

Bigamist Married Illegals for Cash; Spared Jail

Immediately after the ceremonies the “husbands” disappeared and, four years on, both are still being hunted.

Despite admitting bigamy and making false statements, McPake was declared “too vulnerable” for prison and walked away with a suspended sentence.

Amir Ali Tried to Petrol Bomb Crawley Pub

A BUNGLING thug who tried to firebomb a pub while people were sleeping inside has been jailed.

Amir Ali was accidentally hit by a petrol bomb thrown by his accomplice and then ran into a lamppost as he tried to escape.
The 28-year-old was trying to firebomb the Imperial pub, in Broadfield, but his attempt turned into a farce.

Yesterday he was given an eight-year jail term for the crime.

The court was told Ali and another man, who has not yet been found by police, went to the pub at around 3.30am on May 28, 2008.

Ali threw two bricks, breaking a window, and the other man then threw a petrol bomb. But it hit Ali and burst into flames.

The flames died away almost immediately as he ran away, but in his panic he ran straight into a nearby lamppost.

He hit his head and was briefly knocked to the floor.

He went to the Crawley NHS Walk-in Centre for treatment and was linked to the attack by investigating officers.

He tried to deny he had been involved but had been caught on the pub's CCTV cameras.

The licensee of the pub, on Broadfield Barton, was woken by banging noises and came downstairs to find the front door had been smashed.

Two bricks and the remains of the petrol bomb that had failed to ignite were lying on the ground.

Ali was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court, sitting in Brighton, after previously being found guilty during a trial in August this year.

DC Craig Allan, from Sussex Police, said: "This was a prolonged and difficult investigation during which the defendant consistently denied being responsible.

"However, gradually we were able to piece it all together and this week's sentence reflects the seriousness with which the courts take this kind of behaviour."

Anyone with information on the second man, who is still wanted, is asked to contact police on 0845 6070999.

I must say I find the tone of this story rather surreal; what is in any way funny about any of this?

But for his own incompetence, this violent thug could have killed a lot of innocent people; the smirk on his face shows that he realises he'll be out in a mere four years for "good behaviour" (i.e. not killing anyone whilst he's inside - too brutally, anyway), and his equally dangerous accomplice is still at large.

The only joke is how a once proud country turned itself into the laughing stock it has become.

Muslim Exchange Student Attempts Humour in America...

It's strange that for many people, cultural sensitivity only ever works one way.

Take the following incident which occurred in Niceville, Florida:

When international exchange student Jawdat “J.D.” Kasab wrote “Death to America” on a board inside a Niceville High School classroom, he had no inkling of the havoc the phrase would cause.
It wasn’t a threat. It wasn’t a promise. It was just a joke, he said.

Jawdat, a Muslim, was sent back to his home in Israel on Friday evening after officials in the exchange program he was enrolled in told him he had been dismissed over the incident, which occurred about a month earlier.

“I’m sorry that I did that,” Jawdat said during a phone call Monday from Israel. “I don’t want them to think I’m some kind of terrorist because the people who know me, they know I’m not. I’d like for them to give me another chance to come back and show them that I’m not.”

Jawdat arrived in Niceville four months ago as part of the Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES) through AYUSA Global Youth Exchange. The incident that got him sent home occurred in early November inside an art classroom at the high school.

“We were in class, we had nothing to do; we were joking around and we wanted to do something funny,” Jawdat said. “I didn’t think something would happen.”

He said he told the group he was going to write the phrase, which they often jokingly said to each other, up on the board in Arabic.

“I am the one who translated it, not anyone else,” he said. “I wasn’t trying to hide anything.”

Jawdat’s friends laughed and he erased the phrase moments after it was written, he said.

Later the story of him writing the phrase was recounted by another student and brought to the attention of school officials. School officials asked Jawdat what happened; he told them and was suspended for two days, he said.

He thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t. On Nov. 30, AYUSA sent Jawdat the letter informing him he had to leave the country.

Hmm.

Whilst the individual in question may have genuinely been joking, what made him think such humour was appropriate in an American classroom?

After all, thousands of Americans and other Westerners have been slaughtered in the name of such sentiments, part of an on-going Jihad against them and all infidels.

Oddly, this story hasn't been picked up in Britain, probably because it doesn't teach us anything useful, I expect.

Imagine the outcry in papers such as the Guardian if a British exchange student in India made an insensitive joke about the British Raj? Or, God forbid, a British person in an Islamic country made a joke about Islam?

Then it would be time for self-flagellation, handwringing, and many long rants about how evil and racist we are.

Even the American article is written as if this incident is trivial, when I expect anyone telling a joke about Islam might find themselves facing prosecution in several Western countries.

Some jokes just aren't funny, and context is important - but a strong reaction, or rather lack of it, seems to show just what is important to our masters.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Many thanks to the organisers of this conference, who in these peculiar times we live in must go unnamed, and many thanks for inviting me to speak here in Israel, which is both the historical birthplace of Judeo/Christian Western Civilisation, and the current epicentre in the fight to defend the West in its centuries old war against radical Islam.

Israel understands it is at war, and Israel understands it is both a defensive war and a religious war against mono-cultural and expansionist Islam. Most of the multicultural West, of course, protected by decades of peace and distracted by intensive political indoctrination and brainwashing from an early age, fails to understand this one simple fact.

But the West needs to wake up. Having lived through the bloodshed and carnage of 20th Century Nazism and Communism, Europe now seems perversely determined to resurrect Nazism in the form of radical Islam, and Communism in the form of the modern Socialist hard-left, who appear determined to bring down the Christian Capitalist West via their Islamic allies, no matter what this may mean for their own children’s future.

There are many who will sneer at the comparison of radical Islam and the Nazi Party, but those who do so are either wilfully ignorant or deliberately evil. What ideology wished to exterminate the Jews? What ideology wished to murder the homosexuals? What ideology had global domination as its central theme, for which it was prepared to use violence and terror? What ideology revered its leader as a prophet who could do no wrong? What ideology thought of women as second class citizens fit only for religious study, the bedroom and the kitchen?

The answer of course is the Nazi Party, but I challenge any liberal-leftist to explain exactly how radical Islam differs in any way, and to explain to me how the leftist support of a political/religious cult that adheres to the basic tenets of Nazism can possibly be squared against the left’s supposed anti-fascist credentials.

Europe and the West now potentially face the most catastrophic disaster of our own making. We have imported Islam in such numbers as to make ourselves a minority within our own lands within the next few decades. In the case of Britain, recent reports suggest the indigenous British will become a minority by 2066. But this is not quite the whole story.

We non-reproducing British are an ageing and declining demographic, whilst the fast-reproducing Islamic demographic is notable for its youth. Islam may not become an overall majority until later this century, but it will become a majority amongst young males aged eighteen to thirty within the next two to three decades.

I do not need to tell anyone here about the importance of this statistic. Males aged 18-30 of course, are those who wage war, and history tells us that even though they may be outnumbered by moderates, the fanatical minority are always the ones who seize power and the fanatical minority are always the ones who initiate war.

Surveys suggest that 40% of Muslims in Britain wish to live under Sharia Law. Their massively expanding numbers — which will continue to grow at breakneck speed even if immigration were stopped tomorrow — coupled with their undiluted fanaticism, can mean only one thing — Britain is going to have to fight for its very survival within the next 20 years.

In other words, Britain and many countries in Europe are going to find out what it is like to live as Israel has lived since its rebirth in 1948. Britain is going to find out that being hated by Islam it is not because of territory, of occupation, or of settlements, but rather more simply because its indigenous inhabitants are not of the Islamic faith and must therefore be converted, dominated, or killed.

And again, such a statement is by no means hysterical. After the three-week Muslim torture and murder of Ilan Halimi in Paris, 2006, Israel suggested France was no longer safe for Jews to live in.

And Britain is not far behind. The East London Mosque is host to various Islamic haters of the West, whilst being simultaneously linked to the British government which has rolled over and submitted to Islam. In 2004 the East London Mosque allowed Sheikh Abdur-Rahman-al-Sudais, an imam at the Grand Al Haraam Mosque in Mecca, to make the following comment, which was not of course deemed an incitement to racial or religious hatred. Quote:

Read history and you will understand that the Jews of yesterday are the evil fathers of Jews of today, who are all evil offspring, infidels, distorters of words, the scum of the human race whom Allah cursed and turned into apes and pigs… these are the Jews, an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil and corruption.

Quite frankly, such gross anti-Semitic rhetoric would have left even Adolf Hitler struggling to compete. To hear it spoken with no fear of recrimination in Europe today is deeply disturbing.

The British people and their European friends need to understand that expansionist Islam makes us the 21st century version of the 20th Century Jews of Europe. It does not matter if we are Christian, Hindu, atheist, homosexual, lesbian, conservative or liberal — we will simply be defined by what we are not. We are not Islamic.

So we must overcome our smaller differences in our alliance against the mono-culture of Islam that wishes to dominate us, and the most important alliance today must be that between the West and Israel.

Western Civilisation was founded on Judeo-Christianity. It was born near here, on the slopes of Mt Sinai where Moses received The Ten Commandments, and it is defended here, in Israel, the focal point of Islam’s attack upon the West.

When we call for freedom and democracy, then by default, we stand with Israel. When we call for truth and honesty with regard to Islam, then we stand with Israel. When we call for bravery, determination and sacrifice in our struggle against Islam then we stand with Israel. When we call for the right to free speech and the right to a peaceful existence, then we stand with Israel.

When we call upon God to help us defeat evil, then we stand with Israel. When we call out the traitors, the appeasers, the propagandists and the anti-Western haters within Europe’s political and media class, then again we stand with Israel.

American Muslim Convert Refuses to Remove Veil for Mugshot

An interesting snippet from Boulder, Colorado, which demonstrates how Muslims make up the rules as they go along, confident that political correctness will shield them from the consequences of their actions.

A convert to Islam arrested for drink driving refused to remove her veil so a mugshot could be taken:

A Muslim woman who refused to remove her headscarf for a Boulder County jail booking photo has been told she'll have to explain her refusal to a judge.

Maria Hardman, 19, of Boulder, who says she converted to Islam three years ago, pleaded guilty to an alcohol violation and was sentenced to two days in jail plus community service.

She told the Boulder Daily Camera on Friday that removing her headscarf for the photo would violate her beliefs because the Quran calls for Muslim women to wear the scarf except in the company of close family.

A police report said Hardman's blood-alcohol level was 0.19, more than twice the legal limit, after she crashed her motor-scooter in August.

Alcohol consumption is generally considered to be banned by Islam. Hardman said she drank punch provided at a party without knowing it contained alcohol. She said she left after she found out.

Hardman said she was told to remove the scarf for the photo Wednesday, when she reported to the jail to do paperwork in preparation for a two-day work crew as part of her sentence.

She said her attorney spent three hours trying to persuade officials to let her wear the scarf for the photo. She said jail officials eventually allowed her to leave without taking her photo, but it's not clear whether she began serving her sentence.

Larry Hank, who oversees the jail, said Hardman will have to explain her refusal to the judge in her case and that jail officials are preparing a motion to explain their reasoning.

The newspaper reported Hardman's attorney is also working on a motion. No hearing has been scheduled.

I thought the law was supposed to apply equally to everyone? In a case like this, would her attorney have been funded by the taxpayer?

If so, how much did the three hours her lawyer spent trying to argue she's above the rules cost America?

Isn't the point of being arrested and charged for committing a crime that one might lose some liberties as punishment, including the liberty to dress as one wishes?

The questions are endless, but I do wonder how often things like this happen and simply don't get reported - how much is squandered in this way over the course of an average year?

Moroccan High on Cannabis Kills 8 Italian Cyclists

A speeding car ploughed head-on into a group of cyclists in southern Italy yesterday morning, killing eight of them, officials said.

The driver had been smoking marijuana, police said.

Bent, mangled bikes were strewn about the scene, and the sheet-draped corpses dotted the two-lane road near Lamezia Terme, in the Calabrian 'toe' of boot-shaped Italy where the accident occurred.

In addition to the eight cyclists killed, four people were injured: two cyclists and the driver and a young boy in the car with him, said Maria Dolores Rucci, commander of the road police in nearby Catanzaro.

The ANSA news agency said the driver, who was only slightly injured, was placed under arrest on charges of multiple homicide. A police spokesman who declined to give his name said the man, a Moroccan national, had tested positive for marijuana.

A preliminary investigation showed the speeding car ran headfirst into the group of 10 cyclists who were riding in the opposite direction on state road 18, according to Italy's highway authority.

ANSA said the driver was trying to pass another car when he hit the group. Visibility was good at the time, reports said.
